PREMIERE | Rising R&B Artist Teflon Sega Shows Off Incredible Vocals On "Not Another Love Song"

Teflon Sega

Rising artist Teflon Sega is an incredible talent we’ve been excited about for a minute, and today he’s back with more heat. The mysterious R&B artist last made his way on TSIS for his chilled out original track “Closure” showing off his songwriting as well as a cover of Blink 182’s “Adam’s Song”.

While it’s uncertain who is behind Teflon Sega, he’s certainly gotten our attention and appears as an anime style cartoon character across his artwork and Instagram that seems to be the face of the project and perfectly fits the aesthetic of the dreamy, neon-drenched songs we’ve heard so far.

Now he’s back with the premiere of a fresh new electronic R&B original called “Not Another Love Song” that further puts his one-of-a-kind falsetto vocals on full display. Here Teflon floats buoyantly atop Ozzie’s dark, moody production with skittering hi-hats, booming 808s and an eerie melody setting the foundation for the vocals to shine. The song serves as a ballad to pole dancers and although it’s “Not Another Love Song” he sounds pretty hypnotized by a dancer who has caught his eye as Teflon comments he's “not sure why pole dancing gets a bad wrap.. I don’t see it as trashy I see it as art.. full of technique and soul.” Stay tuned for more from Teflon Sega and enjoy!

PREMIERE | Rising Artist Able Heart Delivers Must Hear Electronic R&B Song "Let Me Drown"

Able Heart Let Me Drown

A newcomer we’ve been really excited about lately is Philadelphia-based singer, songwriter, producer and engineer Able Heart who has nailed down his unique sound that we can’t get enough of. For his latest single, Able Heart has shared a must hear new electronic R&B single “Let Me Drown.”

We’ve had the pleasure of premiering the talented artist’s past releases “Drugs” and “High” as he continues to show progress with each original release. Once an aspiring professional snowboarder who suffered a career ending injury, he’s found a new path in music and really carving his own lane. His unique vocals are just as impressive as his crisp production capturing a high energy, moody sound allowing for the catchy songwriting to shine, taking influences from hip-hop and R&B. We can’t wait to see where this rising artist goes from here, but for now enjoy this amazing new single!

Ekali Switches Things Up With Incredible Chill New Song "Past Life" Ft. Opia

Ekali Past Life Opia

It's no secret Ekali is one of our favorite artists right now. He's had a crazy year and shows no signs of slowing down as he's just linked with the exciting rising duo Opia for an incredible new collaboration "Past Life."

Ekali seems to be able to do it all as his recent release have been more high energy, and now he tones it down for a mellow new collaboration. "Past Life" is entirely in a different lane from his massive recent "Babylon" collaboration with Denzel Curry that's seen remixes from Skrillex among others. It seems everything Ekali does is gold though, as he shows an expert ability to incorporate his next level sound design in this chill release, adding just the right amount of flair.

We hear Opia's laidback R&B vocals float buoyantly atop his mystical keys, always on-point percussion and impeccable sound design. The drop is really unique in the way it seems to come to a stop and start back up again without missing a beat. We're curious to hear what else Ekali has in store for us as he always seems to keep us on our toes.
