Louis The Child & Whethan Collaborator Elohim Delivers Impressive Dance-Driven Track "The Wave"

Elohim The Wave

Fans of Louis The Child and Whethan might be familiar with rising artist Elohim, who joined LTC on tour and released "Love Is Alive" featuring her vocals while Whethan collaborated with talented artist "Sleepy Eyes."

Not only does Elohim's vocals stand out on each track we hear her, the production is also next level. This new track "The Wave" highlights some dance-driven production with mystical synths floating atop a crunching, abrasive basstones and vocal sample combo that hits just right. Her hypnotizing vocals round out the track as we look forward to her debut album due early 2018. Enjoy!

Whethan And Elohim Team Up On Laid-Back New Single “Sleepy Eyes”

Whethan has been on a roll as of late with some incredible releases. Earlier this year the Chicago-based producer dropped the catchy single “love gang” (feat. Charli XCX) before releasing his latest track, “Good Nights” (feat. Mascolo). Today, we’re happy to share yet another incredible Whethan collaboration, this time with LA-based artist Elohim, titled “Sleepy Eyes”.

Although Whethan has remixed Elohim in the past, “Sleepy Eyes” makes for the first time the two have officially collaborated. Starting off with a warm plucked melody, Elohim’s soft, delicate voice (which listeners may recognize from Louis The Child’s "Love Is Alive") quickly rolls in, giving the track a warm, emotional vibe. Some gentle percussion and a crisp horn slowly progresses the song forward into a chill drop filled with distant vocal chops and a pulsing bassline, perfect for summer. Check out Elohim & Whethan’s “Sleepy Eyes below and enjoy!

Louis The Child Share New Chilled Out Single "Love Is Alive" Feat. Elohim

Louis The Child Black White Press Shot

Chicago duo Louis The Child has chilled things out for their latest. "Love Is Alive" has more of a downtempo vibe than their previous releases like "Fire" and "Weekend" which utilize their signature future bass style with big drum kicks.

They've enlisted the help of Elohim on vocals whose whispery voice blends in so smoothly with Louis The Child's production. The beauty of this song is in its offbeat hits and plucks, giving it a raw feel. You'll see what we're talking about around the :50 mark. We're really digging this new one by the group and glad they tried something different than what their fans are used to hearing lately. Listen to "Love It Alive" feat. Elohim below and enjoy!
