Electric Forest Adds 40+ Additional Artists & Announces New Tickets For Teachers Program

electric forest

Electric Forest has continued to wow us time and time again over the years, but 2018 may be their most impressive year yet. Having started off the road to the fest with an absolutely stacked lineup, only a month later the festival aided a young fan in convincing his parents to let him attend the two-weekend event with the promise of free tickets. Today, the surprises continue, as Electric Forest just added 40 additional artists to their 2018 lineup.

Although we still have three months of waiting ahead of us untill our return to Rothbury, Michigan, we can hardly contain our excitement after this new announcement. While both weekends will now see performances by Mt. Joy, Dub Trio, CharlestheFirst, Kidswaste, ProbCause and others, individual additions to each weekend will include the likes of Thundercat, Falcons, Tsuruda, Boogie T.rio (Live Band), Mount Kimbie, Elderbrook and more!

This announcement comes with a part two though, as Electric Forest has also announced a brand new Tickets For Teachers program. Somewhat similar to AEG’s recent Red Rocks giveaway in Colorado, Electric Forest aims to show their appreciation to teachers in the communities of Western Michigan, Electric Forest is offering full time K-12 teachers one complimentary GA wristband to either weekend of Electric Forest 2018.

“Electric Forest is inspired by the many voices who call for greater support and appreciation for teachers. We hope the festival can provide local teachers a deeper connection to community, a free-spirited exploration of the arts, and a well-deserved Summer recharge.” - Electric Forest producer Jeremy Stein

UK Festival Creamfield Announces Ridiculously Stacked Lineup for 2018

Creamfields lineup 2018

There are plenty of festivals that attempt to boast massive lineups, but most of them will never reach the sheer volume of artists that Creamfields brings together. Creamfields is the largest electronic music festival in the world (artist wise), hosting 300 artists across 30 separate stages, catering to each and every niche genre you can imagine.

You’ve got techno legends like Carl Cox, Sasha & John Digweed and Nicole Moudaber. You’ve got house icons like Green Velvet, MK and Duke Dumont. You’ve also got straight wildcards like Virtual Self, Fatboy Slim, and Idris Elba (wait what?). Mentioning these names doesn’t even put a dent in the stacked lineup they have assembled for 2018.

Creamfields will take place in Cheshire in the UK from August 23rd to August 26th. Not all festivals are worth traveling overseas, but Creamfields is definitely one of them (if you’re stateside, that is). For tickets and more information check out the Creamfields website at https://www.creamfields.com/
