Big Wild Gifts Fans With Four Amazing “Tour Edits” Pack Before His Winter Tour : Free Download

Big Wild Tour Edits

If you’ve ever been to a Big Wild show before, you know how rowdy the crowd gets whenever he mixes in classic throwbacks like with his “Stand Up” remix, and his “Venice Ventures” edit. His ability to create perfect mixes is something to behold and is reason enough to check out one of his sets.

Today, Big Wild treats his fans to a special collection of tunes and edits that he plays out during his shows, and each one is better than the next. Included in this little edit pack is a euphoric, soulful original, “Going”, which is an exceptional single on its own. Following that is a remix to Kanye West’s hit “Father Stretch My Hands”, which Big Wild flips into a dark and weird deep house banger that will tear up any dancefloor. That one is a serious weapon.

Big Wild has also included a mashup of his own tune, “When I Get There” and Rationale’s “Fast Lane” and the combination couldn’t have been more perfectly aligned. To top it off, he throws in his crazy, out-of-the-box drum n’ bass edit of the all-time classic surfer jam, “Misrlou”.

Oh yeah, and they’re all free to download too. What better way to kick off the biggest tour of his career (that includes a stop at Red Rocks)? Big Wild was nice enough to release all these edits so we highly recommend catching him on his Winter Tour 2018 which gets started on January 30th. Enjoy!

[PREMIERE] Manic Focus Delivers New Remix For Liquid Stranger & Mr.Bill’s “Frankenskank”

Manic Focus Remix Art LS
It’s been a while since we’ve shared any new music from Manic Focus. The last time the Chicago-based artist's’ name graced the site was for his electro soul singles “Stronger” and “Habit” which dropped earlier this year. But today, we have the pleasure of premiering yet another brand new Manic Focus track, this time in the form of a remix of Liquid Stranger & Mr.Bill’s “Frankenskank”.

This latest Manic Focus offering comes as part Liquid Stranger’s brand new Weird & Wonderful Remix EP. Starting out with some vocal chops and dub-inspired drums from the original, Manic Focus boosts the tempo and adds his own unique spin on things. Abrasive growls, distant vocals and some bright playful synths take the track in-and-out of lighthearted progressions and dark, bass-heavy drops.

Having teamed up in February for a sold out show at Washington DC’s 9:30 Club, it wouldn’t be too surprising to see some more Liquid Stranger x Manic Focus shows happening in the very near future...but we can only hope.

Liquid Stranger’s hand-picked, five-track remix EP is now available to stream and download via his label, WAKAAN. Check out Manic Focus’ remix of “Frankenskank” below and enjoy!

SLANDER Link With Rising Producer BASSTRICK For Heavy Bass House Single "DROP IT"

Slander Press Shot

Los Angeles-based duo Slander have proved time and time again that they can create impressive releases that explore all kinds of genres. From an electro remix of Jack U’s “Take You There” to smooth heaven trap original “Breathe,” the two definitely have a range when it comes to what they enjoy producing. For their most recent release, “Drop It,” Slander teamed up with bass house artist Basstrick, a young French producer who has already gained support from the likes of Habstrakt and Tchami.

“Drop It” is a high energy, bass-fueled track that incorporates many different types of sound. It’s intense from the first note, incorporating horns and a pounding bassline that are later joined by a heavily distorted vocal. The truly notable part about “Drop It”, however, is an unexpected switch from trap to bass house during the powerful drop. The fusion of the two genres is downright seamless, making the release all the more impressive. On top of all of that, “Drop It” is available for free download. Stream the track below and enjoy!
