SLANDER Link With Rising Producer BASSTRICK For Heavy Bass House Single "DROP IT"

Slander Press Shot

Los Angeles-based duo Slander have proved time and time again that they can create impressive releases that explore all kinds of genres. From an electro remix of Jack U’s “Take You There” to smooth heaven trap original “Breathe,” the two definitely have a range when it comes to what they enjoy producing. For their most recent release, “Drop It,” Slander teamed up with bass house artist Basstrick, a young French producer who has already gained support from the likes of Habstrakt and Tchami.

“Drop It” is a high energy, bass-fueled track that incorporates many different types of sound. It’s intense from the first note, incorporating horns and a pounding bassline that are later joined by a heavily distorted vocal. The truly notable part about “Drop It”, however, is an unexpected switch from trap to bass house during the powerful drop. The fusion of the two genres is downright seamless, making the release all the more impressive. On top of all of that, “Drop It” is available for free download. Stream the track below and enjoy!

[PREMIERE] Newcomer Producer PARKER Makes TSIS Debut With New Future Bass / Electro Single “WALLE”

Parker Walle Artwork

Not much is known about anonymous producer Parker, but we have a feeling he has a bright future ahead of him. We're excited to premiere his brand new single "WALLE" which carries a youthful fun energy that mirrors his brand's hand-drawn aesthetic.

The song kicks off with 8-bit, game-liked synths from the bassline to the vocal-based melody to the percussion, reminding us of some of Marshmello's work but with a harder electro edge. It builds into a warm and bright future bass sequence that's different than most of the music we've heard lately. Parker takes a fresh approach to the style with his bright, colorful instrumentation and distinct gamer theme. He comes from the camp as Getter so perhaps we'll even see the two combine their talents at some point. In the meantime, get yourself familiar with Parker as you'll likely see a lot more of him. Listen to "WALLE" below and enjoy!
