J. Cole Unleashes Impressive New "Album of the Year" Freestyle

j cole

J. Cole recently surprised with an impressive new album KOD showing off his production and flow, and of course, ability to hold his own with no features. Well, no features from other artists as he featued his own alter ego Kill Edward. Now he’s shared a new freestyle titled “Album of the Year” over the beat from Nas and Braveharts’ “Oochie Wally.”  He’s also teased what seems to be a new project called The Fall Off, with his statement saying  “The Off Season coming soon... all roads lead to The Fall Off.” Check out the freestyle below and enjoy!

Time and time again Hot Ones has delivered incredible content with interviews from artists and celebrities while eating spicy wings escalating the heat of the hot sauce with each wing they eat. We’ve seen some of our favorite artists like Dillon Francis, DJ Snake, Vince Staples, and more deliver hilarious interviews while eating wings. This time around they’ve enlisted comedian Hannibal Buress for the 100th episode of the series and he even freestyled while eating spicy wings. They talked about his home of Chicago, his song “Versace Breakfast” (listen below), which comedians he’d pair in a UFC match and more. Enjoy!

Listen To Rare Notorious B.I.G. Freestyles From 1995

Notorious BIG freestyles

With the 20th anniversary of Notorious B.I.G.’s untimely death, many celebrated Biggie’s legacy. Legendary UK radio DJ Tim Westwood has hosted rapper’s freestyles for years and has now shared rare Biggie freestyles from 1995.

We just shared a 45-minute tribute mix that combined some of his most memorable tracks as well as some lesser-known gems and now Tim Westwood has unleashed these old freestyles from his vault. The first freestyle has Biggie going off the top alongside his Bad Boy labelmate Craig Mack back in March 1995 and the second is from a London trip Biggie took to promote his Life Before Death album.

The freestyles are a refreshing reminder of his smooth wordplay as he effortlessly raps atop the beats. Tim Westwood has been at it for years and likely has more hidden gems in his vault as he recently shared a previously unheard Jay-Z freestyle from 2000. Enjoy!
