Tchami And Malaa Reunite On Wild New Collab “Summer 99”

Tchami Malaa summer 99

Today is a good day for house-music fans, as Parisian powerhouse Tchami and the ever mysterious Malaa have teamed up on yet another incredible single. It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost exactly one year since the house heavyweights released their first collaboration, “Prophecy”, but today they’ve churned out a new future-house track titled “Summer 99” that may just rival its predecessor.

Although Malaa wasn’t part of Tchami’s recently released Alchemy 2 compilation, the masked producer definitely kept busy over the summer, dropping infectious singles such as “Belleville”, “Paris 96”, and his and Dombresky’s collab, “Hostyl”. For this latest offering filled with energetic percussion, bouncy plucks, distorted, detuned bass and some distinctive vocal samples (that some may recognise from De La Soul’s “Long Island Wildin'”), Tchami and Malaa did what they do best, giving us a true banger of a track. Check out “Summer 99” below and enjoy!

Anna Lunoe Launches New Label HYPERHOUSE & Drops First Song "Godzilla"

Anna Lunoe Godzilla Press Shot

Anna Lunoe just delivered a huge original track “Godzilla” quickly following up “Bullseye” that came earlier this month on OWSLA. This new track, however, marks the first official release on Anna Lunoe’s new label HYPERHOUSE and take her sound to a whole new level.

In true Anna Lunoe fashion, “Godzilla” brings a high energy that will surely get you moving. She delivers her own cinematic vocals alongside the pulsing bassline and hard-hitting future house drop that all comes together effortlessly. We hear her switch things up changing the tempo with trap-styled percussion towards the end of the track as she continues to progress her sound.

“Godzilla” is an epic first release on HYPERHOUSE, and we can’t wait to see what else is in store for Anna Lunoe and her new label. Check out the rest of Anna Lunoe’s tour dates below and maybe you can see “Godzilla” in action. She also just announced the exciting news that she's pregnant. Congrats Anna! Enjoy!

Watch Skrillex Drop A New Collaboration With Habstrakt at Coachella

Skrillex Habstrakt Coachella

Skrillex and Habstrakt have teamed up on a heavy new track unofficially called “Chicken Soup” that Skrillex teased during his surprise Coachella set. This marks the first official collaboration from the heavyweights, though the two have certainly shown interest in each other’s music in the past. Skrillex was just recently arrested on noise complaints after playing his demos too loud so maybe this is one of those demos and we can hope for it to drop soon.

While “Chicken Soup” is yet to be released, we can get a sense of the track from a video posted of Skrillex teasing the song at Coachella. Both producers’ distinct styles can be heard, with Habstrakt’s bass house structure and Skrillex’s grimy sound design combining future house aesthetics. Check out the fan video below and stay tuned for an official release. Enjoy!
