The G-house maestro is back at it again. There aren’t many producers out there that can blend hip-hop and bass house as well as BIJOU, and he’s just come through with another big tune titled “Pringles,” featuring Davonyea Marcel.
So flash back to 2009 when I bought my first pair of retro Jordan’s from finish line, this is where I met Sly (Davonyeas now Manager). We lost touch for a few years, but came back into contact recently through a mutual friend. Pringles really started when I heard the original vocal from him & asked if I could take a stab at it for a house tune. Putting my own twist on it, I really wanted to combine every aspect of my own sound into one. I’m extremely Proud of the final product and couldn’t be happier to finally get this one out! Shoutout to Davonyea and everyone who made this record possible! - Bijou
Once BIJOU got a hold of Davonyea’s catchy vocal cut (that the track is centered around), he knew he had his work cut out for him. BIJOU wanted to utilize the vocal to create one of his signature G-house heaters, and he’s done just that. Even though the track is only around three minutes, it’s complete with a luring intro, two heavy drops, and a trappy breakdown in the middle that will keeps things fresh. The track also features some dripping wet bass during the drops that sounds absolutely huge on a quality sound system.
As long as BIJOU keeps cranking out heat like this on a regular basis, we’ll keep slapping those tunes. “Pringles” is definitely going to be getting some love on dancefloors around the country. Enjoy!
