post malone gramatik

Whenever an artist Tweets about a collaboration it should be taken with a grain of salt but this one Gramatik is teasing certainly has us excited and hoping we’ll be able to hear it at some point. When Kill The Noise was tweeting about Post Malone’s new album Beerbongs and Bentleys, Gramatik chimed in sharing news of an exciting collab. He said that he has a song with Tom Morello (of Rage Against The Machine) and Post Malone. This is something we’re already imagining what it might sound like and can’t wait to hear what they cooked up together. Stay tuned for more into and enjoy!

Gramatik Releases His Diverse New 6-Track 'Re:Coil Part I' EP

Gramatik recoil

Gramatik has dropped his anticipated new EP Re:Coil Part I a day early as a birthday present to himself and his fans. Three of the recent singles we covered made their way onto the EP: “Aymo” featuring Balkan Bump and Talib Kweli, “Voyager Twins” with Galactic Marvl, and “Recovery” with Eric Krasno. Re:Coil Part I takes Gramatik’s funky, glitchy style and infuses it with high-energy tunes across the spectrum capturing a forward-thinking sound.

Aside from those mentioned above, this EP contains a number of other heavy-hitting singles, beginning with a huge, robot bass-laden banger, “Future Crypto” with electro-soul producer Branx. Next up is “Goldilocks Enigma” featuring Anomalie, which displays the instrumental finesse of its collaborators with a soulful lead-in to a chilled-out, future-style drop. The final song on the EP, “Halcyon,” is a crisp mixture of electric piano, bright strings, and a keys solo juxtaposed with high-energy, old-school samples, heavy bass, and hip-hop structure.

You may have heard of popular cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum, but now there's GRMTK. The EP has a futuristic sound and theme of technology, so along with this comes this launch of his own cryptocurrency. Fans can now purchase his coin to earn royalties by owning part of Gramatik's intellectual property. We hope Gramatik’s birthday is every bit as enjoyable as the EP he’s gifted his fans. Check it out below and enjoy!

[PREMIERE] Gramatik Teams Up With Balkan Bump And Talib Kweli On Mediterranean-Influenced Hip-Hop Single “Aymo”

Gramatik Balkin Bump

Today we have the pleasure of premiering a brand new single from TSIS favorite Gramatik. Following up on the success of his summer collabs with Eric Krasno and Galactic Marvl, Gramatik keeps the new music coming. Now he's linked up with trumpet player/producer Will Magid’s music project Balkan Bump and hip-hop legend Talib Kweli to share yet another incredible release titled “Aymo”.

Gramatik takes things in an interesting new direction for this latest offering. Starting off with a unique acoustic melody (which sounds like it was played on an Oud), some non-traditional percussion and skittering verses from none other than rapping heavyweight Talib Kweli progress the track into a Mediterranean-influenced drop filled with bouncy bass, abrasive growls and the traditional brass sounds of the Balkans. Check out “Aymo” feat. Talib Kweli below and keep an eye out for more new music from Gramatik dropping soon. Enjoy!
