Bassnectar - Immersive Music Mixtape - Side Two : Hour Long Bass Mixtape filled with Unreleased Remixes [Free Download] - Featured Image
Bassnectar finally let’s loose his latest bass filled mix with the 'Immersive Mixtape - Side Two', following up the impressive Side One. We get a solid hour of some of the latest unreleased Bassnectar originals and a slew of upcoming remixes of Grimes, The Deftones and many more (See track-list below). This is a good sample of what to expect at one his live shows on his Immersive Music Tour that just kicked off this weekend. Stream and download the hour-long mix below for free, thanks to Bassnectar. From Bassnectar himself:
Some of this is mixed like a peak-time set with all levels set to 11, while a lot of it goes deeper than usual; more ethereal, more surreal, more experimental. Kind of like a sunrise set, in some strange Other World where the sunlight melts your mind. :) On this brand new Side Two excursion, take a trip through my sonic kaleidoscope and hear brand new music as well as some vintage selections and re-creations, with exclusives including remixes of Grimes, The Deftones, Lux and Telefon Tel Aviv."

Grimes - Skin (Four Tet Remix) : Chilled Out Indie Electronic Remix

Grimes - Skin (Four Tet Remix) : Chilled Out Indie Electronic Remix - Featured Image
Today I have an incredible remix of "Skin" by Canadian electronic indie star Grimes. The light remix is done by UK born now transported to Ohio electronic producer Four Tet. He adds some drums and melody with the smooth vocals from Grimes over. This is one of the remixes that is so different and catchy, you will find yourself wanting to replay it, over and over. This remix is currently unofficial yet appeared in Four Tet's RinseFM set. Until any details of them releasing the full version, enjoy!

Skrillex, Diplo, Pretty Lights and Grimes to tour on the Full Flex Train Tour

Skrillex, Diplo, Pretty Lights and Grimes to tour on the Full Flex Train Tour - Featured Image
Skrillex is going to be embarking on a Canadian train tour and is bringing along some of his friends Diplo, Pretty Lights, Grimes, KOAN Sound, and Tokimonsta. They will be making 6 stops, all by train. As the Full Flex Express travels across Canada, they will all be working on a moving train studio. This idea is revived from the 1970 Express tour which featured Janis Joplin, The Grateful Dead, and The Band across Canada. History should be made. If you are anywhere close to any of these dates, I would not miss it. And the rest of the world will be counting down the days till we hear what madness they create on the train. More info and ticket links will be updated here later today
