Something GRiZ has done each and every year for the past four years is an exciting annual event called GRiZMAS, and now he’s just made the announcement it’s going to be coming back for its fifth edition this year. While GRiZMAS goes much beyond the music every year, the epic performances at Detroit’s Masonic Temple are certainly the highlight, and this time it comes with with a double header: GRiZ live band on Dec. 14 and GRiZ on Dec. 15. Tickets are on sale Tuesday Sep. 11 here.
The 12-day series of events is a staple in Detroit area in which GRiZ give back to the community in a variety of ways, involving his fans in the best way possible. He always goes out of his way to support the youth through funding music education in Detroit, and has been awarded the Spirit of Detroit award by the city council.
The announce comes along with a fun video seeing GRiZ’s videographer Laine Kelley and photographer Jason Siegel searching for Grant and stumbling across his new album. It leads to them searching all around town for him and having quite the adventure looking for Grant.
We’ve seen iconic performances from GRiZ’s live band this year as a headliner at Electric Forest and for his 2-night run at Colorado’s Red Rocks. This special event will see GRiZ both connecting with his fans and giving back to his community over the course of 12 days leading up to the 2-night run at the Masonic Temple. Stay tuned for the full run of events throughout the 12 days and enjoy!
