Tom Morello has just bridged the worlds of dance, rock and hip-hop in a massive way on his stacked new album The Atlas Underground. The Rage Against The Machine artist has brought together a collection of artists that’s certainly random but it somehow works as he’s enlisted a versatile group including Pretty Lights, Bassnectar, Whethan, Herobust, Steve Aoki and Knife Party on the electronic side while Big Boi, Killer Mike, Vic Mensa, RZA, RZA, Vic Mensa, K.Flay, Marcus Mumford & more. check out the full album below and enjoy!

“It was the tension and release, it was the huge drops, it was the communal frenzy that they created, for me in the mosh pit, for them on the dancefloor. What if we take your production techniques, but replace your synthesizers with guitars?” - Tom Morello

Herobust Unleashes Explosive New Hybrid Banger “WTF”

herobust

All handsome squidward jokes aside, Herobust has become an absolute force to be reckoned with over the past few years. Having recently dropped numerous incredible singles like “Giant Squiddim”, “First Person Shooter”, “Debt 'N Eight”, today the Atlanta-based producer has revived his streak with a heavy new track simply titled “WTF”.

This latest offering couldn’t have had a better name - as we were left saying “WTF” after our first listen to this bass-heavy track. Characterized by skittering percussion, wonki, pitched vocal chops, shrill metallic growls and explosive bass, this new mainstage weapon is sure to start a riot. Check out “WTF” below and enjoy!

PREMIERE | Herobust Shares Menacing Dubstep VIP Of His And MONXX’s “Giant Squiddim”

2017 was definitely a good year for Herobust. Having dropped a 6-Track Vertebreaker EP, three huge singles (“First Person Shooter”, “Debt 'N Eight” & “Blockbuster”) over the course of the year, we've been excited to see how 2018 would stack up. It seems Herobust is prepping for another great year, as today we’re excited to have the pleasure of premiering the brand new VIP version of his and MONXX’s “Giant Squiddim”.

As we’ve seen in the past with VIP versions of “Move Mint”, “Blockbuster” and more, Herobust isn’t new to remixing himself - but it seems he’s upped the ante on this latest offering, as it comes to us as part of a full “Giant Squiddim” remix EP due out this Friday (March 30),

“I've been really into deep dub recently and, given the deep sea theme of Giant Squiddim, I decided to take it there. The result is dark, murky and pretty otherworldly.  We also have some great remixes from some serious young producers.” -Herobust

Characterized by a softer, more melodic drop than the original, Herobust strips the production on “Giant Squiddim” back to deep, pulsing wobbles, eerie, distant synths and skittering percussion. The sound design on this one is insane! Check out Herobust's “Giant Squiddim” VIP below and watch out for the full remix EP dropping Friday (March 30). Enjoy!
