REZZ And 1788-L Combine Forces For Sinister, Glitchy Single "H E X" Off REZZ's Upcoming Album

This summer is shaping up to be massive for midtempo bass music. Genre-defining heavyweight REZZ linked with rising producer 1788-L for her latest original “H E X”, the second single off her upcoming sophomore album Certain Kind Of Magic. Both producers have had busy release schedules, with REZZ dropping the first single off her album “Witching Hour” to follow up a dark remix of The Glitch Mob’s “I Could Be Anything” and 1788-L cranking out remixes of hit tracks like Skrillex’s “Would You Ever” and Illenium’s “Where’d U Go” alongside blistering originals like “C Y B E R S P A C E”.

“H E X” is a perfect mix of the two producers’ styles at each point in the song. REZZ’s signature eerie twangs echo between 1788-L’s robotic synths during a rapid-fire buildup that explodes into a dark, glitchy drop. Both producers show off their sound design chops as the bass rips back and forth through the track alongside high-pitched industrial synths and sounds that may have come from outer space.

Stay tuned for more from REZZ and 1788-L – enjoy!
