Hundred Waters

Big Wild Links With Hundred Waters For Mystical Track "Show Me" Via Foreign Family Collective

Big Wild Hundred Waters

Big Wild is back yet again with his track “Show Me” alongside rising OWSLA band Hundred Waters. The track was originally released a couple years ago as an unofficial remix of the Hundred Waters original, and now it’s being re-released as a Big Wild original with a Hundred Waters feature.

Released via ODESZA’s Foreign Family, this new track beautifully utilizes Hundred Waters’ dreamy vocals, building gentle chords and calming melodies around it. We heard Skrillex, Chance The Rapper and Moses Sumney previously take on the original for an incredible remix, and now Big Wild has put his mystical touch on the track. Big Wild’s version builds new production from the ground up earning itself a release as an original track opposed to a remix as his organic instrumentation blends perfectly with the laid-back production we’ve come to know him for. Enjoy!

Hundred Waters Deliver Chill New Indie Album ‘Communicating’ Via OWSLA

Hundred Waters Communicating

Los Angeles-based trio Hundred Waters have just released their new album via Skrillex's OWSLA label, following the Currency EP they dropped just this May. Communicating, the group's third LP, includes previously released singles "Particles," "Fingers," and "Wave to Anchor," alongside eight brand-new tracks.

Hundred Waters' unique blend of electronic elements and organic, acoustic instruments sets them apart from their peers. This new album only builds upon that sound they have produced, which comes with a wave of melancholy over every beat and note. One minute lead singer Nicole Miglis' beautiful vocals will be hushed, restrained, and haunting, and the next she will open up with huge notes that show off her incredible vocal range. The impeccable production on this is expertly crafted, which really requires headphones to get the full effect of its intricacies. Enjoy!

OWSLA's Hundred Waters Share Genre-Blending New Single "Wave To Anchor"

Hundred Waters Wave To Anchor

Ahead of their forthcoming third album due to release next week on Skrillex's OWSLA label, Hundred Waters have been releasing tons of music to give fans a taste of what to expect. The 5-track surprise Currency EP dropped back in May and showed off their incredible versatility and range, accompanied by multiple album and throwaway singles released throughout the year.

While the melancholic last single "Fingers" focused on minimalism and a downtempo sound, the new song "Wave to Anchor" unexpectedly amps up the energy. The dance-ready beat pulls in many instruments and sounds to create a dense, complex song that never stays still. Frontwoman Nicole Miglis' vocals shine as always, but she is not limited to the hushed whisper that haunts many of their songs. Instead she is able to show off her vocal range and play with different melodies and levels of intensity, all of which are incredibly mesmerizing.

We can't wait to hear what direction the album will take when it releases next week, but between the three singles we've heard this will not be one to be missed. Enjoy!
