PREMIERE | Rickyxsan & Hyraulix Combine On Heavy New Bass Single "UNDRGRND"

rickyxsan hydraulix

Rickyxsan and Hydraulix have come together once again to give us today’s bangin’ premiere “UNDRGRND”. The pair last collaborated nearly a year ago on their high-energy Never Say Die release “Sleep”, which we premiered here. Now “UNDRGRND” sees the two heavy-hitters maintain this same energy while adding an even grittier feel for this bass-heavy trap tune.

Distorted vocals and subtle synths lead to a machine-like buildup with a robotic countdown and upbeat percussion. Rickyxsan and Hydraulix drop it with squelching cyborg synths that penetrate our speakers as the deep bass pushes through below. The duo come back full force with a second drop, laying out a fat, dirty bassline complete with gritty wobbles and compact, gliding synth notes. This marks the second Never Say Die collaboration for Rickyxsan and Hydraulix, and we hope it’s not the last. Check it out below and enjoy!

QUIX’s “STORM” Receives Bouncy, Bass-Heavy Remix From Australian Producer Hydraulix

Quix Hydraulix

Hybrid-trap heavyweight QUIX has been on quite a roll lately. Having finished off 2017 by dropping some impressive collabs with the likes of Slumberjack & josh pan, What So Not, KRANE and Ekali, the New Zealand native has set himself up to have an incredible 2018. And it seems to already be off to a great start, as today, QUIX’s latest single, “STORM” has received an incredible remix from fellow heavy-bass bringer Hydraulix

We’re really loving this latest from the Sydney-based producer Hydraulix and are excited to have him featured on the site again with this premiere.. Starting off by keeping the track’s original opening intact, Hydraulix quickly takes things in a bouncy new direction during the drop. Characterized by heavy, pumping bass, skittering percussion and wonky, heavily distorted synth wobbles, this remix is sounding like a perfect blend of trap and club music. Check out Hydraulix’s remix of “STORM” below and make sure to catch QUIX on his ongoing U.S. tour (dates and tickets here). Enjoy!

[PREMIERE] Rickyxsan And Hydraulix Team Up On Hard-Hitting Trap Single “Sleep”

Today we have the pleasure of premiering a banger of a track, just as festival season has begun to wind down. Both Rickyxsan and Hydraulix have been killing it in their own respects - Rickyxsan with his remix of Zomboy’s "Lights Out” and his x NGHTMRE’s remix of Galantis’ “Hunter”, and Hydraulix with his recently released Madness EP. Today though, the two have combined their bass-heavy production styles and teamed up on a brand new track titled “Sleep” via Never Say Die Records.

It’s always fun to hear what two talented producers can accomplish through a collaboration, and it’s clear that both Rickyxsan and Hydraulix put in some work on this latest offering. Starting of with some crisp horns and eerie soundscapes, the song immediately takes on a dark, foreboding vibe. Some powerful percussion and a quick rise throws the track into a hard-hitting drop filled with punchy bass, wispy vocal chops and some wonky, elastic wobbles. Check out Rickyxsan and Hydraulix’s “Sleep” below and enjoy!
