Maggie Rogers experienced a quick rise following a viral video of Pharrell nearly being brought to tears after hearing her breakout single "Alaska". Now the singer-songwriter and producer has released her new five-track EP, Now That The Light Is Fading.
We’ve already heard three out of the project’s five tracks that had us excited for the full EP. Leading up to its release she shared "Alaska", "Dog Years" and "On + Off" that established her unique, signature sound blending folk with electronic elements. She expertly brings a dance-drive, electronic edge to organic instrumentation with her airy vocals as the project’s highlight. Her new track, "Better", builds on the sound of her past singles while the opening track, "Color Song", is an a cappella track of layered vocals showing off her amazing voice. Enjoy!

We just recently premiered an Electric Mantis remix of Australian three-piece band Mansioniar’s "Easier", and now they’ve switched things up to be the remixers this time around. We’re pleased to be premiering Mansionair’s refreshing take on A R I Z O N A’s "Oceans Away".
New Jersey-based trio A R I Z O N A’s original track has racked up a ton of plays on Spotify in a short time as they’re quickly making a name for themselves and are making appearances at numerous festivals this year. Mansionair’s rendition of "Oceans Away" takes a more relaxing, slower approach as they add slight vocal distortions, new percussion and lush instrumental melodies adding a dreamy vibe to the song. They make use of well-placed and looped vocal samples that has a Jaime xx feel to it capturing a peaceful tone. A R I Z O N A are heading out on tour with Kevin Garrett, see dates below. The track is up on Youtube below and will hit streaming services here tonight. Enjoy!

We’re happy to be premiering Phil Good’s new track "Growing Up"as his second official release that serves as his introduction to TSIS. Phil Good is a talented LA-based singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist who’s caught our attention with this infectious new indie-electronic single.
"I think Growing Up captures that feeling of restlessness and insanity that occurs when you’re trying to get over something or someone, but your mind and your body are fighting you back as hard as they can," says Phil Good on this new release. His catchy vocals are accompanied by a memorable drop and a distorted, rumbling bassline that brings everything together effortlessly. We were pleased by this unique single's sound design that delivers colorful, distorted synths giving the track extra life. Enjoy!
