Jauz and Crankdat Team Up For Heavy Bass House Collaboration "I Hold Still"

Jauz CrankDat

Two of the most exciting names in bass music right now, Jauz and Crankdat, have finally linked up for an explosive collaboration! Both of these artists have been busy throughout this year, with Crankdat making his TSIS debut for a heavy remix of DJ Snake’s “Propaganda” with Havok Roth, and Jauz sharing heavy releases “Claim To Be,” “The Game” and much more. Today the two shared an impressive single that they teamed up to create – “I Hold Still.”

This track is an infectious combination of each producer’s style. Most unique about it is the steady rise and fall of each element. A percussion-heavy intro leads into a euphoric build-up, which wastes no time diving into a heavy drop that brings to mind Jauz’s signature bass house style. This ebb and flow of sorts persists throughout the entire track, making for a captivating signature sound. Check out “I Hold Still” below and enjoy!

Jauz Drops Groovy Dubstep Remix Of Slushii & Marshmello's "Twinbow"

Marshmello Jauz Slushii

Jauz is no stranger to collaboration, especially when it comes to Marshmello. The pair teamed up for their remix of Duke Dumont's "Need U (100%)" as well as their track "Magic," which was released just shy of a year ago. Since then, Jauz and Slushii have DJ'ed back-to-back; now Jauz has worked with both these producers for his groovy dubstep remix of their track "Twinbow."

Jauz makes use of the original, distorting its plucky synths and adding a touch of reverb to the high-pitched vocals. His remix takes the playful future bass vibe of "Twinbow" and turns it on its head with bouncy dubstep. He opts for a grimy synth lead to form the basis of the melodic first drop and switches things up with machine-like sounds for the second. He's sure to throw this one into live sets during his tour, which will be making stops in Europe, Canada, and the US. Enjoy!
