Kill The Noise Takes On Snails & NGHTMRE's "Only Want You" For Wild Heavy New Remix

snails kill the noise

Snails and NGHTMRE dropped an insane collab "Only Want You" ft. Akylla off Snails' debut album The Shell last fall and now it's received quite the remix. This new song comes early off the full remix album of The Shell and only further solidifies Snails and Kill The Noise's strong collaborative history.

Earlier this year we heard Snails and Kill The Noise team up on "Shake The Ground" featuring Sullivan King as well as the rare appearance as Kill The Snails at HARD Summer earlier this month. Now Kill The noise has put his magic touch on the already great collab between Snails and NGHTMRE, making it entirely his own new track. The remix kicks off a bit slower than you might expect from Kill The Noise, but that definitely changes once the drop kicks in. This is undoubtedly a wild remix we're loving from KTN.

This follows up other remixes from Virtual Riot, Megalodon and Funtcase off the remix album. Enjoy!

Snails & Kill The Noise Team Up On Ridiculously Heavy New Dubstep Track "Shake The Ground” (feat. Sullivan King & Jonah Kay)

We’ve been waiting quite some time for this one to see the light of day! Soon after the inception of Snails and Kill The Noise’s super-duo Kill The Snails back in 2016, an collab only known as “Fuck It” began making its way into heavy bass sets everywhere (including the intro to Kill The Noise’s 2017 Killuminati Mixtape). Now, Snails and Kill The Noise may have just dropped arguably the hardest dubstep track of 2018, with the official release of the enigmatic collab, titled "Shake The Ground" featuring Sullivan King & Jonah Kay.

"We wanted to try something new and different on this one and bring our metal and rock n' roll roots into the song. The energy of the crowds when we drop this song at festivals is what makes it all worth it. Really, really proud of this one!" - Snails

Coming as the first release on Snails’ new label, Slugz Music, believe us when we say this one is an absolute monster. Blasting off to a start with some thumping percussion, gritty, distorted vocals and crunchy guitar riffs courtesy of dubstep/metal heavyweights Sullivan King & Jonah Kay, this latest offering will undoubtedly serve to set the aesthetic of Slugz Music. Filled with abrasive, guttural growls, skittering metallic hits, explosive bass and deafening crowd chants throughout the entirety of the track, even the most seasoned bassheads won’t be prepared for the second drop... Check out "Shake The Ground" below and for those headed to HARD Summer in August, make sure to catch Snails and Kill The Noise's special Kill The Snails set during day two. Enjoy!

Seven Lions, Kill The Noise & Tritonal Unleash Massive Collaboration “Horizon” Feat. HALIENE

Seven Lions kill the noise

After coming together throughout fall 2017 for the Horizon Tour, powerhouse producers Seven Lions, Kill The Noise and duo Tritonal dropped their much-anticipated collaboration “Horizon” feat. HALIENE today. Each of these explosive artists has been up to big things in 2018 – Seven Lions announced his Ophelia label and Kill The Noise dropped his incredible “Killumination” mixtape as he heads out on his own headlining tour, to start. “Horizon” is yet another impressive achievement from each of these musicians.

A collaboration between three groups (composed of four producers total) is easier said than done; with vastly different styles, the final product could have descended into a jumbled mess. Instead, each artist’s signature shines while still remaining cohesive with the track’s tone.

A euphoric intro guides the listener in, with HALIENE’s lofty vocals and a gradual build sounding quite Seven Lions-esque. The drop is split into three distinct sections where we can only assume each producer or group steps up to the plate. The first piece is reminiscent of Seven Lions, composed of a raucous kick and rumbling bass combined with glowing progressions. Next up is Kill The Noise – this dark section bursting with chopped up bass will no doubt take you by surprise. Last is Tritonal with a more radiant, lighthearted piece rolling smoothly into the outro. This style of collaborating was definitely a risk that paid off in leaps and bounds for these four. Check out “Horizon” below and enjoy!
