Tom Morello has just bridged the worlds of dance, rock and hip-hop in a massive way on his stacked new album The Atlas Underground. The Rage Against The Machine artist has brought together a collection of artists that’s certainly random but it somehow works as he’s enlisted a versatile group including Pretty Lights, Bassnectar, Whethan, Herobust, Steve Aoki and Knife Party on the electronic side while Big Boi, Killer Mike, Vic Mensa, RZA, RZA, Vic Mensa, K.Flay, Marcus Mumford & more. check out the full album below and enjoy!

“It was the tension and release, it was the huge drops, it was the communal frenzy that they created, for me in the mosh pit, for them on the dancefloor. What if we take your production techniques, but replace your synthesizers with guitars?” - Tom Morello

Outkast's Big Boi Shares New Album 'Boomiverse' Ft. Snoop Dogg, Gucci Mane, Killer Mike & More

Big Boi Boomiverse Art

Big Boi, one-half of the legendary duo Outkast, has just released his third solo album today. Boomiverse is his first album in five years since 2012's excellent Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors. While that album brought indie collaborations and experimental production, his newest goes back to his Atlanta roots with a more traditional southern hip-hop style.

He recruited tons of collaborators for the album, including Snoop Dogg, Gucci Mane, Killer Mike, Jeezy and more. Most of the songs feature verses with aggressive delivery, which are juxtaposed by radio-friendly choruses. While Andre 3k is unfortunately nowhere on the album, Big Boi holds his own and continues to prove that he may be underrated but should not be overlooked. Enjoy!

Listen To Big Boi's New Collab 'Kill Jill' With Killer Mike and Jeezy Off Upcoming Album

Big Boi Killer Mike

Big Boi announced a new album on Instagram yesterday, and has shared with us the first preview from his third solo album, entitled Boomiverse. The first of two singles, "Kill Jill," taps fellow Atlanta rappers Killer Mike and Jeezy for a hard-hitting southern banger.

While the song won't officially be released until tonight, the snippet reassures us that we'll get a reliable Jeezy chorus to go with Big Boi's baritone raps. The trap drums combined with a chopped-up vocal sample sounds like it will be the perfect soundtrack for these three lyrical rappers to shine on. Check out the Apple Music preview below, and look out for an update with the full track later tonight. Enjoy!
