[PREMIERE] Knife Party’s “Destroy Them With Lazers” Gets Massive Remix From Herobust [Free Download]

Knife Herobust

At the tail-end of 2011, Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen of Knife Party released their laser-charged single, "Destroy Them With Lazers." The record has proved its longevity and still remains a prominent weapon in countless DJ sets today by Zedd, Jauz, Mat Zo and more.

Rising trap star Herobust has decided to apply his signature skill set to the tune and give it the proper "BUSTED" treatment. Listeners, prepare to immerse yourselves in a cold laser-fueled battle that is occasionally provided a warm breeze by lush synths. The action-packed soundscape is nicely sectioned out by punchy percussive elements that cast a sense of order among the chaos.

For those who feel this type of environment suits them perfectly, we highly suggest you check out the producer's 60-minute mix for Diplo & Friends, along with his remix of NGHTMRE's single, "Street."

Listen below to Herobust's "BUSTED" remake of "Destroy Them With Lazers," exclusively on TSIS.

Dynamic bass pioneers Knife Party have just delivered their newest project, “Trigger Warning”, a 4 song EP filled with heavy electro flavor served with a hint of satire. Just yesterday we received the first taste of the project in the form of a massive dubstep remix from rising LA producer Jauz. Now we get the full stream of all 4 songs in full glory before the EP’s release tomorrow.

Knife Party visited Zane Lowe for an interview to promote the EP,  mentioning they aimed to approach the project with a sense of humor most notably on “Plur Police”. This is Nothing new for KP as they have created satirical tracks in the past with tunes like "EDM Trend Machine" off their debut album Abandon Ship, a track poking fun at the rapid ascension and saturation of the tropical house and deep house genres.

Their new EP “Trigger Warning” brings Knife Party’s signature cinematic style together perfectly for a collection of dance floor ready bangers. This release will wrap up a monster year for the duo which included headlining performances at Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, Global Gathering and a long list of other note worthy festivals around the world. As far as their plans for 2016, Zane Lowe mentions the status of the group’s inactive project, Pendulum, but as has been the case in the past the two leave little hope regarding if and when the project will start back up again. Check out the whole EP below and KP’s interview with Zane Lowe. Enjoy

Knife Party - PLUR Police (Jauz Remix) : Huge Dubstep Remix

Dynamic bass duo Knife Party have been teasing news of a new release coming out, and now we know it to be the Trigger Warning EP.

In an interesting move they are releasing the remix of one of the EP's single "PLUR Police" ahead of the original online. They have brought out none other then exploding producer and TSIS regular JAUZ to take on duties.

He has had quite the breakout year full of legendary festival sets and series of headline shows and some huge singles like "Deeper Love" or his collaborations like "Squad Out" with Skrillex"Get On Up" with Pegboard Nerds or the 2015 future house anthem "Rock The Party" he did with Ephwurd.

JAUZ’s production prowess stands out greatly on this remix of “Plur Police”; we see him experiment with the Dubstep side of the spectrum taking a step away from his signature Future House / Bass House style. He proceeds to kill the remix with the unexepected direction in sound full of high-octane  synths and loads of rumbling bass. Those looking for a hefty dose of dubstep will go ape shit over this new release.
