Krewella Return With Incredible New Single "Be There" + Music Video

Krewella Be There Artwork

Krewella’s first single of 2017, “Be There”, has surfaced with its accompanying music video. The emotional video reminisces on Jahan and Yasmine’s childhood and depicts how their lives have changed drastically over time. The sisters from Chicago have been through a sensitive career but have proven that they are always able to succeed with the support from each other. “Be There” pays respect to that idea while still withholding Krewella’s high-energy sound.

With help from producers Lookas and Cody Tarpley, “Be There” blends elements of catchy pop-music with lively electronic-music seamlessly. Following the success of their preceding single "Team," which peaked at #1 on dance radio, Krewella has made it evident that 2017 will be yet another prosperous year. “Be There” is a contagious song that is perfectly timed as the summer months are quickly approaching. Enjoy!

[PREMIERE] NGHTMRE & Pegboard Nerds' "Superstar" Collaboration Ft. Krewella Receives Impressive Trap Remix From Unlike Pluto

Unlike Pluto Press Shot

The Monstercat family welcomed LA-based producer Unlike Pluto with open arms last year, releasing tracks like "Searching For You" and "Waiting For You" on their ever-growing imprint. Unlike Pluto now kicks off 2017 with a brand new remix of the label's "Superstar" release by NGHTMRE, Pegboard Nerds and Krewella.

While the original tune embraces a more grungy bass feeling, Pluto's creative trap spin on it incorporates a more melodic base with jazzy vocal chops and thick future bass synths. The rising artist continues to impress us with his imaginative sound design that's beautifully mixed.

You can expect a new release to pop up on his page every two weeks starting Feb. 7. Unlike Pluto seems to really be kicking it into high gear this year so we're excited to watch his journey. Stream his new remix below and enjoy!

Krewella Switch Things Up On New Single "Team"

krew team 2

As 2016 comes to a close, sister duo Krewella is able to sneak in one more release that is simply too catchy not to vibe to. The tune is called "Team" and plays around with dance-friendly vocal chops that swirl around a Bollywood-influenced future bass melody. Jahan and Yasmine's vocals soar as always.

"This song is going to mean different things to everyone who hears it, but we wrote it from the perspective of not needing validation from anyone but your own self to feel good - not wasting time on people who will disrespect you over & over again - and just in general, shedding the negativity in your life. This song is not ‘no new friends’ it is ‘only real ones.'" -- Yasmine

The production takes on a lighter style than their previous songs, "Superstar" and "Beggars", but still bumps enough for a club setting. On the live front, Krewella wrapped their successful Sweatbox Tour this past fall where they played more intimate rooms than usual and have hinted that there may be a second round of dates in the works. In the meantime, stream their new single "Team" below and watch the music video as well. Enjoy!
