Young Thug & Lil Yachty Team Up On Uplifting Chill Single "On Me"

Young Thug Lil Yachty On Me

Atlanta artists Young Thug and Lil Yachty have teamed up once again for a new single, further demonstrating how effortlessly their styles compliment each other. The new song, "On Me," will be featured on a forthcoming compilation from Quality Control Records, the label behind Migos and more.

The two artists start the track off by singing the pre-chorus together, matching their different uses of auto-tune to create a call-and-response that sounds more like echoes. Lil Yachty sounds natural over the beat produced by his longtime collaborator EarlThePearll, with the major keys providing a positive and uplifting backdrop. Most of the vocals come from Young Thug who shines on this song, demonstrating his strong hook game, vocal range, and ability to switch up his flow on a dime.

We're always happy to see these two artists together after the amazing remix to Yachty's breakout hit "Minnesota," and the new track does not disappoint. Look out for more Atlanta features on Quality Control's The Streets: Volume One when it drops later this year. Enjoy!
