Louis Futon Shares Must-Hear Original Track “Surreal” Ft. RKCB

Louis Futon New Press Shot

TSIS favorite Louis Futon is back with his first release of 2017! Louis’ infectious new single “Surreal” features uplifting vocals from duo RKCB and is sounding amazing building on the sound we’ve come to love from Louis.

He’s held us over in between releasing singles with his Zoned Out mixtapes filled with unreleased music as well as impressive remixes of Anderson .Paak, Goldlink, ZHU and more. “Surreal” is the follow-up single to Louis’ amazing original “Wasted On You” that dropped via ODESZA’s Foreign Family Collective last year.

“I wanted to create something really fresh and soulful with this one,” says Louis. RKCB noted “When we heard the track it was so immediate to us. We absolutely fell in love with the world it creates and just wanted to bring people in with us. It makes us feel almost out of control, yet entirely present and so in love with the moment.”

“Surreal” is a refreshing song that will surely put you in a good mood. The uplifting melodies carry a bright and mystical tone throughout for RKCB’s dreamy vocals to float buoyantly atop. The track is incredibly soulful as the many relaxing, smooth texture combine perfectly with the airy singing that will be endlessly stuck in your head. Louis Futon is heading out on tour, see dates below and enjoy!

See Okeechobee Music Festival Sets From Porter Robinson, Bassnectar, 12th Planet, Logic, and Louis Futon

Okee Porter Logic Bassnectar

We had Okeechobee on our list of 5 new U.S. festivals you shouldn't miss out on in 2017 and for quite a good reason. I wasn't able to make it down for the first year, but luckily got to experience it this year, and wow...this festival has something really special going on. It honestly manages to carry out some of that same magical experience as Electric Forest, but more of a jungle vibe.

The festival wrapped up it's second year and it was awesome. From the stacked lineup to the impressive installations to the various stages -- including our very own Beach Party stage featuring some of our favorite artists Kasbo, Louis Futon, Whethan, and Brasstracks. Okeechobee sold out in advance this year and was one for the books.

There were so many great performances and there was a very dedicated fan who took the liberty of recording the entire sets for a lot of the top acts. We've included these videos of some of the best sets of the weekend, including Porter Robinson, Bassnectar, 12th Planet, Logic, as well as part of our TSIS Beach Party with a set from and Louis Futon. Enjoy!

TSIS Has A Beach Party Stage At Okeechobee Music Festival 2017 With A Sick Lineup

okee tsis

We've been talking about how excited we are for Okeechobee, one of the newest festivals to enter the American festival family, for a while now. It has a simiilar vibe to Electric Forest with its 600 acres of grasslands, clear lakes and exotic tropical woodlands. The event is decorated with impressive art installations, yoga / meditation and amazing food that's spread out between various stages -- from an all night forest to a beach stage. The lineup for 2017 looks out of control. We will be out there in full force and highly recommend you all attend as well. If that isn't enough for you, we have some even more exciting news.

TSIS will be throwing a special stage takeover at the festival's beach stage, "Aquachobee", for the first ever TSIS Beach Party!!

It's going down on Saturday, March 4 and we have an amazing lineup in store. TSIS favorites Kasbo, Louis Futon, Whethan and Brasstracks will all be throwing exciting sets. It's going to be a party all day long happening literally feet away from the beach and water at the festival.

Okeechobee has also revealed more additions to the lineup which include Logic, Sturgil Simpsin, 12th Planet, Pell, Vulfpeck, The Floozies, Space Jesus, Ganja White Night and a handful of others.

If you haven't made plans yet, we highly suggest doing so as this is sure to be one of the best festivals of the year. You can see more info on tickets and full lineup here. Enjoy!
