Pham & Sober Rob Share New Single “Alibi” Feat Madi via Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats Label

The latest release to come from Zeds Dead's Deadbeats label is "Alibi" by Pham and Sober Rob. The gritty electronic single features female vocalist Madi who brings extra emotion to the production with her slick vocals.

"Alibi" incorporates dark and moody ambient synths that are intercepted by a strong bassline driving the foundation of the drop. The contrast between Madi's silky vocals and the hard bassline is simply done to a tee and keeps us listening until the very end.

"We'd been doing some projects after we met in Los Angeles and there was one that caught our attention after a while. During the process we met Madi, an amazing singer. The decision was to set the sounds in contrast. We found our common creative ground with Madi: in this example the vocals became really light and instrumentation started to get gritty and hard hitting...We wanted to introduce something new, push the envelope amongst the wave of replicating sound aesthetics." -- Pham and Sober Say

Pham is someone we've been covering for a few years now and recently shared his chill trap single "Below The Surface." We first introduced Sober Rob to the site last summer with his refreshing future bass original "With Me" and have see Madi shine on several cuts like "Lilith" by Dabin and "Flutter" by Virtual Riot. It's awesome to see the three acts come together on a strong track like this, especially on a respected independent label like Deadbeats. Listen to "Alibi" below and enjoy!

[PREMIERE] Dabin Delivers Heavy Genre-Blending Album Single “Lilith” Ft. Madi & Apashe

Dabin Lilith Artwork

Toronto-based producer Dabin is gearing up for the release of his forthcoming album Two Hearts via Kannibalen Records and gives us a new taste off the LP. We’re glad to be premiering “Lilith” feat. Madi & Apashe as his latest track off the project.

“Lilith” is the second single off the LP due March 31 as Dabin and fellow Kannibalen affiliate Apashe display versatility in their production across the nearly 5-minute tune. The track starts off spacey and dreamy layering many different soundscapes alongside Madi’s vibrant vocals as the intro becomes more cinematic with an abrasive electric guitar coming in giving it an almost metal edge. Then things really switch up at the drop where wonky, hallowed synths kick in alongside bass growls as the song continues to build and change tones throughout. Stay tuned for more off the album and enjoy!

[PREMIERE] Virtual Riot - Flutter (Feat. Madi) : Smooth Future Bass Original

Virtual Riot - 'Flutter' Art

Moving Castle has employed Virtual Riot and Madi for their latest release, "Flutter," an upbeat single that melds wavy future bass synths with a springy future house-inspired lead. While Virtual Riot is primarily known for his dubstep efforts, the German producer has made a creative pivot as a late with his artist project.

Prior to "Flutter," TSIS premiered his future bass single, "Stay For A While," which appears volume two of Spirits' free compilation series. He now makes his debut on Moving Castle, the artist collective-turned-label which has delivered a handful of gems including Manila Killa's "Youth."

"Flutter" is the imprint's seventh official release to date and precedes Volume 5 of their compilation series coming soon. Stream the new tune below and grab a copy on iTunes if you're feeling it. Enjoy!
