Listen To Matthew Koma's New Single "Hard To Love" Co-Produced By Louis The Child

Mathew Louis

One of our favorite duos, Louis The Child, has co-produced Matthew Koma's new single "Hard To Love". The Chicago duo has been busy both behind-the-scenes and in front with the recent release of their song "Love Is Alive" feat. Elohim.

They also co-wrote The Chainsmokers' massive track "Closer" feat. Halsey. In general, they've just been on a roll with non-stop quality releases, dropping tracks like "Fire" feat. Evalyn, "Weekend" with Icona Pop, and of course their breakout single "It's Strange" feat. K.Flay.

Matthew Koma's track, "Hard To Love", features some of his best songwriting to date and that says a lot as the singer-songwriter has written some of Zedd's biggest songs including "Spectrum" and "Clarity". Koma's latest definitely has those Louis The Child vibes with its warm bassline, playful lead melody and creative drum hits.

"Hard To Love" departs from his more dance-driven works and explores a more chill, electronic soundscape with unique elements. Listen to it below and let us know what you think. Enjoy!

NY duo The Knocks gave us the incredible "I Wish (My Taylor)" alongside Matthew Koma ahead of their upcoming album 55 back in September. Now as the release of 55 looms overhead, none other than teenage duo Louis The Child steps up to the plate and knocks their take on the song out of the park.

Replacing the original indie feels with a funky soundscape adorned with skillfully placed off-beat melodies and their signature synth work we've come to love, Louis The Child manages to keep the core themes of the song flourishing while putting their own tasty electronic flavors into the mix.

Stream the remix below and stay on the lookout as 55 is set to arrive March 4th via Big Beat/Neon Gold. Enjoy

Flux Pavilion & Matthew Koma- Emotional (MUST DIE! Remix) : Heavy Dubstep Remix

Flux Pavilion & Matthew Koma- Emotional (MUST DIE! Remix) : Heavy Dubstep Remix - Featured Image

Earlier this year Flux Pavilion broke the silence releasing his latest studio album Tesla. The album featured an eclectic collection of songs from Flux, ranging from his signature melodic dubstep style, to uplifting house, and even tones of future bass. A stand out record for us came as a collaboration with male vocalist Matthew Koma on "Emotional."

Today we hear the first official remix from for the song from bass producer MUST DIE! who has dropped many notable tracks in recent months including a remix for SNAILS' OWSLA release "WILD" along with his electro single "Hellcat". On MUST DIE's remix for "Emotional" we hear melodic keys delivered by a dramatic piano line which quickly shifts into uplifting synths as the track builds up for a brutal earth shaking dubstep drop. Listen to the remix below and enjoy!

Flux Pavilion & Matthew Koma- Emotional (MUST DIE! Remix) | Out Dec. 4th.
