Mr. Carmack & Tennyson Deliver 3-Track EP Made in 3 Days Ft. BJ The Chicago Kid

Carmack Tennyson BJ

Mr. Carmack and Tennyson have teamed up for three new songs following a challenge from Red Bull for the artists to make three songs in three days. We previously covered the first song “Tuesday” and now we have “Wednesday” & “Thursday”, which features BJ The Chicago Kid

Their productions capture a chilled-out vibe throughout the three tracks as they impress us with their ability to create these high-quality productions in such a short time. The first two tracks “Tuesday” and “Wednesday” are relaxing instrumentals built on many layers of smooth melodies. “Thursday” switches things up as they connect with BJ The Chicago Kid on the soulful collaboration finishing the series. Enjoy!

Mr. Carmack and Tennyson Team Up On Chill New Instrumental Single "Tuesday"

Carmack Tennyson

As a challenge from Red Bull, Mr. Carmack and Tennyson have made three songs in three days. They successfully completed the challenge as their collaborative effort "Tuesday" is now here.

"Tuesday" is a super smooth beat that’' perfect to kick back to. Mr. Carmack puts aside his experimental-leaning sound design on this collab with Tennyson to craft a chilled-out instrumental. The hazy tune has swirling melodies and trippy, spacey sound design with a relaxing bassline and crisp percussion. Since the soulful production it titled 'Tuesday", we're thinking the other two tracks in the series might come the next couple days. Enjoy!

Mr. Carmack & Djemba Djemba Share 9-Track Collaborative ‘Rekindling’ EP To Support Charity

Carmack Djemba Djemba

Mr. Carmack and Djemba Djemba have linked up for a collaborative 9-track EP called Rekindling. The project comes with a powerful message from Carmack in which all proceeds go to a #NoDAPL (No Dakota Access Pipeline) benefit to help stop construction of the massive pipeline. He tweeted an update saying he hit his goal for the release in just two days and it is now available as a free download, but you can still donate to the cause if you choose to.

Rekindling consists of three Carmack songs, three Djemba Djemba tracks, one collaboration between them and two additional recordings of women speaking on the issues being faced with the Dakota Access Pipeline. The project incorporates the artists’ wild, experimental sound design while also including beautiful, chilled out melodies as well.

Beneath the music on his bandcamp page, Mr Carmack includes a long message including this passage:

"happy thanksgiving. this album is a thank you, and a stern reminder to take this holiday season to revisit and rekindle the flame in you. to take more of an active part in the world and not lie dormant. you work to survive. but, what in your heart is your end goal?"

You can read the entire message below. "Justicia Ahora Ft. Gladiator", "BIOTRUTH" and "So Blunt" are available for immediate streaming. Name your price to download the Rekindling EP in full below. Enjoy!

"happy thanksgiving. this album is a thank you, and a stern reminder to take this holiday season to revisit and rekindle the flame in you. to take more of an active part in the world and not lie dormant. you work to survive. but, what in your heart is your end goal?

with whom or what lies your passion to expand your soul, to keep your heart pumping and allow you to express and to be yourself, fully?

by looking for ways to maximize the health, and longevity not just for yourself, but for this earth, you can use that path as your guide, and believe me you will find that passion in you. too long you've been silenced, placated, ameliorated, flat out lied to, medicated, pilled, reprocessed, taken advantage of, snuffed out, desensitized, overstimulated, and stuffed with preservatives, processed sugars and white pills, monotonous music, mindless alternate realities on cable tv, brainless celebrity idols and carnival games to keep you entertained, like a baby.

no. what does this world need? who controls the world? and who's controlling them? who's there to tell them they're fucking it up for everyone and they shouldn't do that? not only for the sake of the wellbeing of earth, but for us as well? it is up to us. the people.

so, with that, after work next monday, don't just go home and take to your tv or computer and turn your brain off. a paycheck is not your end goal in life. join a library. take a class. teach a class somewhere. read something. take up a hobby. paint outside. learn to plant a tree. cut meat out your diet. read up about clean energy tech. engage yourself. look into local farms. or just read, post and repost positive constructive shit on your social media.

its really not up to anyone, or any god, anymore., to tell us everything will be ok. i am not a baby. it is truly up to us as the most powerful species in the known universe and the sheer power of the instantaneous internet to shepherd this world in a positive direction for all of us. otherwise, we die. in any denominational way you choose.

happy thanksgiving."
