lollapalooza 2017 lineup

Chicago’s Lollapalooza has announced their stacked 2017 lineup! Each year they bring a massive collection of diverse artists bringing a little of something for everyone as they get great electronic, hip-hop, indie artists and more. This year it will take place Aug. 3-6 in Grant Park, Chicago.

Once again, Lolla has outdone themselves with tons of awesome artists. The headliners this year include Chance The Rapper, Arcade Fire, Muse and The Killers followed by other top billed acts like DJ Snake, Justice, Blink-182, Lorde and The xx.

It's crazy to see Chance The Rapper make his rise, selling out his own Chicago festival this past fall and now landing a top headliner spot in his hometown.

The lineup has a lot of great electronic acts including Zeds Dead, Porter Robinson, Kaskade, 3LAU, Borgore, Slander, Getter, NGHTMRE, Baauer, Alison Wonderland, Mura Masa, Gryffin, Joyryde and many more. There’s no shortage of hip-hop on the roster either as Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean, Rae Sremmurd, Migos, Joey Bada$$, Russ, 6LACK, Amine and many more will be making appearances. Some other notable indie acts include Alt-J, Glass Animals, Phantogram, Little Dragon, Maggie Rogers, and tons more.

One-day tickets are on sale here at 10am. Enjoy!

Zedd is set to release his sophomore studio album with a projected release date being early 2015.

Grammy-winning German house producer Zedd certainly has the skills to balance numerous successful radio hits while also turning out countless house tracks that have become festival anthems. His debut album Clarity saw huge acclaim with "Clarity" and "Break Free" both charting across the globe and also managed to catapult the artist into a league of extraordinary top acts.

Zedd recently announced via Billboard that his sophomore studio album release is heavily underway and should be wrapped up by early 2015. He also mentioned dropping a single or two in the next 6 months

He is in converstaions with Hayle Williams (Of Paramore) about a followup collaboration to the highly succesful "Stay The Night", which would be on the album. Zedd unveiled his active plans to work with both Muse and Silverchair, two bands that "really inspired" Zedd; yet those names are just on the wishlist currently. Zedd also mentions that most of the album is written and it's just now about producing all the tracks to where he sees fit.

Zedd also states that his hearing has returned fully and was nothing serious. Just needed to catch up on some much needed sleep.

"It’s hard to find time to sit down and focus on it. I’ve written most of the songs but the production process is long for me – making them sound the way I want them to sound, finding the right vocalists, and so on." - Zedd

Muse - Knights of Cydonia (Gramatik Remix) : Must Hear Remix (for fans of Pretty Lights)

I first introduced you guys to Gramatik back with Stairway to Hip-Hop Heaven (the epic Led Zepplin remix). Then I posted him album released on Pretty Lights Music Beats & Pieces Vol. 1. I love his funky almost jazzy bass filled sound, which reminds me a little bit of Pretty Lights, which makes sense why he got picked up for the label. For this one Gramatik took Muse's hit 'Knights of Cydonia' and made an amazing remix. It's got a epic build up, and then drops with some some smooth yet crunchy bass lines and vocal sampling. It's got a real funky sound that reminds me of the Opiuo Good Thymes remix. Turn up the bass, enjoy! Muse - Knights of Cydonia (Gramatik Remix) | Direct Download | Hulkshare | Mediafire
