NGHTMRE Returns To Diplo & Friends For Heavy New Mix

Nghtmre Diplo

Only the best and brightest artists are invited to appear on Diplo’s Diplo & Friends radio show on BBC Radio 1Xtra. Of those few, even less are invited back again for a second round. However, Diplo just had NGHTMRE back on his show to throw down another full, 60-minute guest mix.

NGHTMRE’s last Diplo & Friends mix was all the way back in 2015, and it’s easy to tell the difference between the two. While his first mix focused on mainly trap and future bass, this new one features gritty, heavy bass music for the full hour. It’s always interesting to see how your favorite artists’ tastes change as they progress throughout their career.

If you’re a fan of NGHTMRE’s live shows, you’re going to dig this mix. Tyler sticks to his style of quick, precise transitions that will keep you on your toes for an hour straight. There’s also a handful of IDs in here, so keep your ears ready. Enjoy!

NGHTMRE & Dillon Francis Drop Hard-Hitting Collab “Another Dimension” Off 'NGHTMRE, Pt. II' EP

NGHTMRE Dillon Francis

Ever since dropping the wildly addictive hit "Need You" last year dance music fans have been eagerly awaiting the next Dillon Francis and NGHTMRE collaboration. Lucky for us, the L.A. producers have teamed up again releasing their explosive new trap single "Another Dimension."

Both artists have stayed busy this year as Dillon is coming hot off his impressive recent releases with the light-hearted single "Hello There" and his energetic collab with G-Eazy "Say Less." Now their anticipated collaboration is here off NGHTMRE's full EP, NGHTMRE, Pt. II out today and packs just the energy we wanted from the two TSIS favorites. We previously heard NGHTMRE's singles off the project "No Coming Down," "The Killer," and "On The Run" as the full project builds on NGHTMRE's already impressive catalogue

NGHTMRE and Dillon Francis share an undeniable chemistry that grabs you at the first eerie synth stab and leads you along as the mounting build-up readies you for the impending drop. It is a bass heavy, synth-driven endeavor of epic proportion! The song truly showcases an effortless balance of both producer's sounds delivering a hard-hitting track we'll be coming back to. Enjoy!

NGHTMRE Hops On Chilled-Out Hip-Hop Track With PnB Rock And Wiz Khalifa

TSIS-favorite NGHTMRE has been on a hot streak of incredible releases. Whether it’s haunting trap drops on “The Killer,” dubstep-infused guitar riffs in “On The Run,” or future-bass flow on “No Coming Down,” this LA-based producer consistently delivers addicting tunes with innovative sound design. All this is in preparation for his upcoming four-track EP titled II, scheduled for a December release.

During this busy schedule NGHTMRE somehow found the time to hop on a track with PnB Rock and Wiz Khalifa and shows the world just how versatile his production can be. “TTM” starts off soft with a pleasant steelpan melody that expands into a smooth R&B hook with a driving beat accentuated by offbeat hi-hats that echo in each ear. The track frequently collapses into hip-hop breakdowns that make room for a rumbling sub-bass to fill the listeners’ ears with mellow vibes. We never expected a track so chill from this legendary trap producer.

To hear both old and new NGHMTRE vibes in person grab tickets to his cleverly named NGHTMRE Before Christmas Tour across North America now. Enjoy!
