NGHTMRE Teams Up With Rising Producer Rickyxsan For Exciting Remix of Galantis’ “Hunter”

NGHTMRE Galantis Rickyxsan

It’s been about a month since Swedish production duo Galantis dropped their most recent single, “Hunter.” The release was an interesting departure from their usual style, channeling a more relaxed, easy-going vibe than some of their other songs. Today NGHTMRE paired up with up-and-comer Rickyxsan to drop their massive remix of the track. Both artists have had a big few months, with NGHTMRE dropping his insanely popular remix of Terror Squad’s “Lean Back” and Rickyxsan releasing an impressive take on Zomboy’s “Lights Out.” The two coming together for this most recent release was the perfect match.

NGHTMRE and Rickyxsan turned “Hunter” on its head in the best of ways. The trap remix is injected with a healthy dose of synth and bass, taking it from chill and funky to gripping and intense. Perhaps the most interesting part of the track is the flute-like synth that makes appearances throughout the song, adding a refreshing dimension to an already great remix. Even the vocal is given a darker, more powerful edit, taking the re-imagination of the song one step further. Stream the remix, out now on Big Beat Records, below and enjoy!

NGHTMRE Delivers Huge Trap Remix of Terror Squad's Classic Song "Lean Back"

NGHTMRE Black And White

NGHTMRE has released his huge remix of the Terror Squad’s “Lean Back” and managed to turn the 2004 classic into a trap banger. NGHTMRE fans may have been able to catch the track in past sets, but it’s now officially available for streaming on SoundCloud. For his re-work, NGHTMRE brings up the tempo and adds his own distinct elements while keeping highlights of the original.

We can hear the deep kick and prominent snare from the classic track while NGHTMRE flips the original lead synth melody into an aggressive trap production with huge horns cutting through the drops. This new remix comes shortly after his release and music video with Ghastly, and NGHTMRE promises that there’s more music on the way. Enjoy!
