Mau5trap Celebrates 10 Years With Impressive 'Ten Year Anniversary' Compilation

mau5trap compilation

It’s been an epic 10 years for Mau5trap, deadmau5’s successful label that has remained one of the most respected imprints in the industry throughout the years. Today the label celebrated a decade of innovative music with a 33-track Ten Year Anniversary compilation, featuring a roster brimming with talent.

The compilation spans genres, from techno to electro house to dubstep and more. Mau5trap legends Feed Me and deadmau5 himself contribute a few tracks along with REZZ, one of Mau5trap’s newest artists and one of the freshest faces in the industry today. A few other unexpected producers brought their talents to the compilation, such as Excision and Messinian with an intense, bass-heavy track “X Rated” and Noisia with an experimental original “Tommy’s Theme.” Beyond these familiar names, the offering features a host of rising talent for those looking to follow some new artists. Check out the full Ten Year Anniversary compilation below and enjoy!

Mat Zo Delivers Must-Hear Remix Of Noisia's "Mantra"

Mat Zo Noisia

The remixes from Noisia's Outer Edges keep on coming and have arrived in full today. We've already shared with you Moody Good's heavy dubstep remix of "Get Deaded", as well as Bassnectar's. Well we'd like to share one more for you that stood out for us on the LP's 20-track remix package.

Mat Zo's take on Noisia's "Mantra" is incredibly creative and incorporates distinct drum work that will keep you on the edge of your seat. He does a great job at gradually building the song's atmosphere in the second half of the production, slowly layering ambient pads, opera-like vocals and grimy bass elements that cut through the mix perfectly.

He experiments with multiple unique synths here and it definitely pays off. Listen to Mat Zo's reimagination of "Mantra" below. Enjoy!
