Rising Indie Artist NoMBe Shares Hypnotizing New Single "Eden" Featuring Geneva White

NoMBE Eden press shot

NoMBe is back again with his latest single “Eden” featuring Geneva White. The LA-based artist has been dropping monthly singles since January, including “Summer’s Gone”, “Bad Girls” and “Do Whatchu Want To Me”, alongside many others. Once NoMBe has “run out of songs”, all of the previously released singles will be packaged together to create his forthcoming album They Might've Even Loved Me. This release approach is no easy task, however it is being carried out by the TH3RD BRAIN team who have provided TSIS with some of our favorite artists, including ZHU and Gallant.

Listening to NoMBe’s latest is a hypnotizing experience full of therapeutic basslines, glistening textures and a delicate vocal melody. The rising artist has continued to provide a hybrid laidback sound, while still keeping it fresh with each release. We’re unsure as to how many songs They Might’ve Even Loved Me will be, but at this point we know it is at least 11 with his latest “Eden”… Enjoy!

NoMBe & Thutmose Drop Laidback Genre-Blending Single "Summer's Gone"

Nombe Summers Gone

NoMBe is a name you have undoubtedly heard this summer, and we here at TSIS have been all about his music. His unique approach to sharing music off his upcoming debut album, They Might’ve Even Loved Me, has earned him significant attention. He continues his plan to drop one single after another until the album’s release with his latest collaboration, “Summer’s Gone” alongside Thutmose. This tune follows up recent singles “Bad Girls” and “Do Whatchu Want To Me,” furthering his unique, genre-blending sound.

“Summer’s Gone,” aptly labeled as “electric soul,” infuses elements of hip-hop, electronic, and alternative. NoMBe and Thutmose take turns spitting verses, laying out vocal harmonies for the catchy choruses in between. Spacey synths echo around soulful guitar and punchy percussion, which add to the track’s laidback theme. The energy continues to build and reaches a crescendo for a powerful finale, complete with brass instruments and modulated synths.

NoMBe continues to outdo himself with each release, and “Summer’s Gone” adds a chilled-out vibe to his refreshingly eclectic mix of singles. Stay tuned for more to come and for the official release of They Might’ve Even Loved Me. Also be sure to keep an eye on Thutmose, who's going on tour with one of our favorite rising artists, Billie Eilish. Listen below and enjoy!

Claude VonStroke Shares Two-Track 'Works Well With Others' EP

Claudevonstroke Works Well With others

It's been over a year since we've heard new original music from Claude VonStroke, but the head of Dirtybird Records has just given us a brand-new two track EP. While Claude has released an album and two mixtapes during that time under his side project (and real name) Barclay Crenshaw, this new EP returns to his tech house roots.

Dirtybird was recently named Label of the Decade by Mixmag and these collaborative tracks with two labelmates show they'll be one to watch in the decade to come. The first song, "Tiny Tambourine," features Will Clarke and starts out with a deep, pulsing bassline that doesn't let up for the duration of the track. The second, "Daylight Dark Room," features Sebastien V who is rumored to be the secret alias of someone else on the roster. While this track is lighter than the first, the slow build culminates in a dense, complex song that is hard to sit still to.

This release marks Dirtybird's 12th release this year, and they show no signs of slowing down this year ahead of their annual Dirtybird Campout festival. Enjoy!
