22 ODESZA Songs To Hold You Over Until New Music Arrives

ODESZA colors

Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight of ODESZA have been sharing their music with the masses since 2012 and later received the monumental honor of being nominated for a Grammy award in 2015. That same year, they formed Foreign Family Collective, an imprint that caters to a similar release schedule as their own artist project which emphasizes quality over quantity.

When the Seattle duo isn't releasing music, they are typically on tour performing live shows for sold-out crowds around the world. Their combined efforts and talent, both inside and outside the studio, have led to incredibly high demand. To help tame your cravings, TSIS has gathered ODESZA's top 22 songs to hold you over until their next release.

Chet Porter Makes Debut On ODESZA’s Foreign Family Label With "Stay"

Chet Porter - Stay Feat. Chelsea Cutler [Cover Art]

Chet Porter, not be confused with Chet Faker or Porter Robinson, makes his debut on TSIS with his enchanting single, "Stay" feat. Chelsea Cutler, on Foreign Family Collective. The imprint, formed by Seattle duo Odesza, has become an elite tastemaker for electronic music over the past year and marks "Stay" as its 11th release. Previous records to come from Foreign Family include Jai Wolf's "Drive", Louis Futon's "Wasted On You" and RÜFÜS DU SOL's "Bloom" LP.

"Stay" awakens the inner-child in every listener with its endearing melodies, sparkling progressions and Cutler's airy vocals that induce a dreamy essence. With respect to how the record came to be, it flips the script.

I think that with most collaborations, the producer writes an instrumental and then reaches out to a vocalist to hop on afterwards, but this actually happened the other way around. I was in Dubai and Chelsea messaged me asking me if I wanted to produce around this demo she made. I finished most of the song that day and immediately had Foreign Family in mind. I showed my manager, but specifically said not to send it because it wasn’t quite there yet. I remember him hitting me back being like “sent" haha and I freaked out like all-caps "OMG NO YOU BLEW IT". When Spring came around I was touring with Big Wild and Jai Wolf, then I got asked to open up for Odesza on a few shows in California. That's when they told me they wanted to release it. - Chet Porter

The single precedes a 39-date North American Fall tour with Lemaitre, Jai Wolf and The Floozies. Grab your tickets here and enjoy his latest release, available tomorrow (Aug. 19) for purchase!

Odesza Share Amazing Aftermovie Of Headlining Red Rocks For The First Time

ODESZA Red Rocks Live

It has been incredibly exciting to see one of our favorite acts, ODESZA, explode over the past few years. We were just covering how we thought their In Bloom album was one of the best of 2015. The live group has embarked on several sold-out world tours, where they dominated the festival circuit, and made their debut at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater earlier this year for a landmark performance.

To celebrate, Odesza has produced a short documentary capturing the epic night. They also go in-depth with respect to their live show, touring and why Red Rocks is the perfect setting to premiere new aspects of their performance.

TSIS had the pleasure of being in attendance for this show and we can confidently say it was amazing. Sit back and enjoy!
