Oliver Tree Blends Hip-Hop, Indie & Electronic On Impressive New Single "Movement"

Oliver Tree Movement

Oliver Tree is a spectacle with everything he does. He's certainly a one-of-kind both as a person and as an artist. In addition to bringing back the bowl cut, he impresses us with just about everything he puts out. He just recently put out his debut Alien Boy EP and is back with more fire on his new song "Movement."

He's a versatile artists that blends elements of hip-hop, electronic and indie rock together for his unique sound we can't get enough of. "Movement" sounds like some Beastie Boys or something as Oliver spits a verse with distorted vocals. The instrumental kicks off with just a piano before the drums come in leading to a funky, pulsing bassline and distorted synths making for a raw feel with Oliver giving the track the perfect edge on his vocals. Stay tuned for more and enjoy!

Rising Artist Oliver Tree Shares Insane Music Video With Debut 'Alien Boy' EP Ft. Whethan: Hip-Hop / Indie

Oliver Tree Alien Boy EP

Oliver Tree is truly one in 7.6 billion. The hilarious artist is also somewhat of a comedian, with his ridiculous bowlcut and scooter riding being what first pops into mind whenever I hear his name. However, he's anything but a gimmick. The unique artist has impressed us time and time again with his original tracks, and shares the impressive 6-track Alien Boy EP. There is also a music video he's shared with us and it's everything we could have ever dreamed of - be sure to check it out below.

Oliver includes previously released singles "All I Got," "Enemy" featuring Whethan, "Welcome To LA" and "Upside Down" with a couple new tracks further solidifying his spot as an exciting artist we can't wait to see develop even further. His one-of-a-kind sound is as playful as his comedy videos, but should be taken seriously. He has a way of mixing elements of indie, hip-hop and electronic music that blends so smoothly we just can't get enough of it. On the new tracks "All That" and "Alien Boy," he shows off his ability to write and sing songs that will be stuck in your head for hours while also putting his rapping on full display, showing he can spit bars. Enjoy!

Rising Artist Oliver Tree Delivers Infectious Indie Electronic Gem "Upside Down"

Oliver Tree Upside Down

While Oliver Tree might have the best bowl cut we’ve ever seen, he’s much more than just a bowl cut. Once again, he’s impressed us on his latest indie electronic gem titled “Upside Down.”

There’s something about Oliver’s music that just gets stuck in our head for hours, but in the best way. While his social media presence is maybe the most hilarious of any artist we’re familiar with, his music is definitely not a joke. If you’re unfamiliar you should definitely check him out as he’s a frequent collaborator with some of our favorites like Whethan on “Enemy” among other songs as well as his “Forget About It” collab with Getter. Tree has an exciting sound that blends elements of hip-hop, electronic and indie music in a unique way we’ve been loving. “Upside Down” is just the sound we love from the L.A.-based artist pairing the distorted guitar with his echoing vocals and vocal harmonies that work so well together. Enjoy!
