Tennyson Delivers Playful & Experimental 6-Track ‘Uh Oh!’ EP Via OWSLA

Tennyson Uh Oh EP

It’s been about two years since we had the pleasure of introducing brother/sister production team Tennyson to the site, but it seems they’ve been hard at work since. With a Skrillex, Mr. Carmack and Taylor Bennett collab already under their belts, Luke & Tess are definitely not a duo to be slept on. Today, they’ve shared a brand new full length project - an EP titled Uh Oh!

Following up their last full length project, Luke & Tess have beautifully expanded upon their delightfully upbeat instrumental sound with their new 6-track EP. Filled with lush atmospheric soundscapes, playful acoustic percussion, whimsical synth melodies and even a feature from Aloe Blacc, Uh Oh! embodies a delicate yet passionate sound, unique to its originators. Check out a behind the scenes video of Tennyson’s standout single, “Cry Bird”, and stream their full Uh Oh! EP below. Enjoy!

Hundred Waters Deliver Chill New Indie Album ‘Communicating’ Via OWSLA

Hundred Waters Communicating

Los Angeles-based trio Hundred Waters have just released their new album via Skrillex's OWSLA label, following the Currency EP they dropped just this May. Communicating, the group's third LP, includes previously released singles "Particles," "Fingers," and "Wave to Anchor," alongside eight brand-new tracks.

Hundred Waters' unique blend of electronic elements and organic, acoustic instruments sets them apart from their peers. This new album only builds upon that sound they have produced, which comes with a wave of melancholy over every beat and note. One minute lead singer Nicole Miglis' beautiful vocals will be hushed, restrained, and haunting, and the next she will open up with huge notes that show off her incredible vocal range. The impeccable production on this is expertly crafted, which really requires headphones to get the full effect of its intricacies. Enjoy!

Hundred Waters Share Extra Chill Album Single "Fingers" Via OWSLA + Video

Hundred Waters Fingers Video

Hundred Waters recently delivered a surprise EP titled Currency featuring production from Skrillex just a few months ago and are already preparing for a full LP Communicating, due Sep 14. Now the group residing on OWSLA has shared a new single off the project called “Fingers” along with a music video.

Hundred Waters always impresses us with both their vocals and production, with this new track continuing this trend. This single is an extra chill single with calming instrumentation combining acoustic elements with minimalist electronic productions laying the foundation for Nicloe Miglis’ dreamy vocals to gently float across. The video finds Miglis laying on the floor while a ton of bugs crawl all over here… Stay tuned for more off the project and enjoy!
