Diplo just unleashed his latest ridiculous visuals to "Butter's theme" feat. Gent & Jawns off his recent Express Yourself EP. The outrageous video matches the grimey Moombahton jungle banger perfectly in a weird way. Reuben Dangoor directed this optical illusion of girls dancing and signs. This was premiered through POTATO, the new channel from Diplo, Skrillex and A-Trak. Enjoy.
POTATO the new YouTube channel from Diplo, Skrillex and A-Trak has launched with it's first show Bang! The first episode features Skrillex, Boys Noize and Kevin Saunderson highlighting the Birthplace of Electronic Dance Music and Techno and the city it took place in, Detroit, Michigan. There are interviews with Kevin Saunderson talking about his trio who are regearded as one of the originators of Techno, the Bellview Three (Alongside Derrick May and Juan Atkings). There are also interviews with Skrillex (Sonny Moore) and Boys Noize (Alexander Ridha) and scenes from their New Years Show of the same name The Bang that took place in Detroit at Palace of Auburn Hills.
It is extremely awesome to see someone like Skrillex who has such a large diverse fanbase both young and old and also rookie and veterans in the scene wanting to educate everyone about the origins of the birth of dance music and techno. I guess you could say he "Put His Hands Up For Detroit" What do you think? Comment below.
