Pretty Lights Announces Final Stops On Episodic Tour Ft. Manic Focus, Opiuo, Ganja White Night & More

Pretty Lights Live

Pretty Lights has had quite the busy summer already, teasing unreleased music via both live performances and sharing directly with his fans. In addition to this, he has announced a number of fall tour dates, including Life Is Beautiful and Island of Light festivals. One thing that has us particularly excited, however, is Season Two of his Episodic Tour, of which Chicago, George, and Morrison shows have previously been announced. Pretty Lights’ most recent announcement unveils two new stops on his Episodic Tour in New Hampshire and Texas.

Episode 09 will take place where Pretty Lights debuted the tour last summer: the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford, NH on September 15-16. Episode 10 is being hosted at the Whitewater Amphitheater in New Braunfels, TX on September 29-30. The supporting acts for these shows vary slightly, but these include Resonant Frequency, Maddy O’Neal, Jade Cicada, Exmag, Twiddle, Manic Focus, Opiuo, and Ganja White Night.

These two shows will close out Season 2 of the Episodic Tour, so they’re sure to be something special. General on-sale tickets for both shows will be available tomorrow at 10AM local time. You can view more information here. Enjoy!

Watch Pretty Lights Perform Unreleased Music At Summer Camp

pretty lights the sun spreads in our minds

We at TSIS have been keeping an especially close eye on Pretty Lights since he announced he would be releasing a new album in 2017. Since the announcement, the Denver-based artist has continued the hype by dropping 31 live "Flips" of his own tracks, announcing an epic 2-day mini festival at The Gorge and even mailing fans USB drives full of unreleased music. Last Sunday (May 28), Pretty Lights closed out his live performance at Summer Camp Festival’s Red Barn by playing the unreleased track and one diligent fan caught it on video and the fan is calling it "The Sun Spreads In Our Minds", but that title is not confirmed.

Most likely from his long-awaited upcoming album, this new track is one of the only new songs Pretty Lights has come out with in the last few years. Watch him and his live band perform the unreleased single in full HD below. Enjoy!

Pretty Lights Mails Fans USB Drives Full Of Unreleased Music + Announces Return To Red Rocks & More

Pretty Lights USB

Pretty Lights has executed one of the most legendary marketing stunts to date. A select few of his most loyal fans received a package in the mail with very exclusive cargo. Included in the bundle was a poster that revealed new Pretty Lights Live tour dates as well as a USB drive with dozens of unreleased “flips” from Pretty Lights himself. The posters contained the following, or a similar, message on the back of them:

Greetings, you have been chosen for a new Pretty Lights social experiment.  This package contains unreleased “flips” from Euphoria (April 2017), Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival (March 2017), and Telluride (August 2016).  As one of our most devoted fans, we are choosing you to not only spread this music organically far and wide, but to also share the message that we will be returning to Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO on August 11-12 for the 9th consecutive year.  See you soon.

The “flips” are reworks of some of Pretty Lights’ most notable songs and were stored on a custom-engraved wooden USB drive.

This effort from Pretty Lights has thus far confirmed shows at Red Rocks on August 11-12 and Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island in Chicago on August 18-19.  We expect more dates to be rolled out as more fans unveil their findings.

Pretty Lights is always coming up with innovative ways to keep his devoted following interested… and continues to do so here. Listen to some flips below and enjoy!
