Skrillex & Nero’s Classic Collab “Promises” Gets New Life From PRI$MO On A Heavy New Remix

Prismo Nero Skrillex

After taking a little break from releasing music, Prismo is back with another hybrid-trap heater. Prismo first started turning heads just a couple of years ago when he started firing off his trappy remixes for popular hip-hop tracks like Fetty Wap’s “Trap Queen” and “My Way” and Father’s “Look At Wrist” and made his way on the site again earlier this year for the premiere of his single "Smile."

This time around, however, Prismo decided to put his spin on an all-time electronic classic, “Promises” by Nero and Skrillex. The result is a fresh, banging approach that is executed flawlessly through thick, screeching synths and heavy, knocking bass, all while retaining the nostalgia of the original. This track was apparently created as a secret weapon to use in his DJ sets, but it’s now a free download for any of us to enjoy whenever we want, so cop it while you can!

PRI$MO also noted in the description that this was released as a part of his “Prizmas” series, so stay tuned. We can’t wait to see what he decides to “prismodify” next. Enjoy!

[PREMIERE] Rising Artist Prismo Delivers Uplifting Single "Smile"

Prismo Art Photo

20-year-old future bass producer Zach Burgett, aka Prismo, has proven to be a force to be reckoned with in the electronic music scene. On top of his quality production and intricate songwriting, he also sings on the majority of his tracks. Today we have the pleasure of premiering his latest release “Smile,” which stays true to his unique sound.

“Smile” begins with Burgett’s soulful vocals overlaying deep, atmospheric piano. The energy quickly builds before he breaks things down with echoed, sputtering chords and reverberating plucks. Prismo drops the track once more with higher energy, bringing in double time drums as his vocals continue in the distance.

Prismo had this to say about the tune:

"Smile is about being a source of comfort for your loved ones. "Smile, you're with me now" --- you don't have anything to worry about! I wanted this song to show off the bones of the vocal and music production while staying loud and groovy. I'm continuously feeling more confident with my vocal presence in my music and I'm so excited to showcase that with this new song!"

“Smile” makes for a perfect addition to Prismo’s collection of quality bass music. Grab it now via Lowly Palace, listen below, and enjoy!

[PREMIERE] Newcomer Prismo Releases Chilled Out Original "Coexist" [Free Download]

Prismo - Coexist
Houston DJ/producer Zach Burgett, more commonly known as Prismo in the bass music world, makes his TSIS debut with a brand new single titled "Coexist," featuring his own vocals.
Burgett says his vision for the record was inspired by "the people who try to be loving and selfless in their relationships with others," rather than those who "need to receive love in order to give it." While his previous works highlight the more aggressive end of the bass spectrum, his newest output showcases a raw cinematic-driven soundscape that is brightened by an honest lyrical message.
In the opening verses, Burgett eloquently draws the two types of people while bringing in his own experiences. Stream the original song below and grab a free download. Enjoy
