RÜFÜS DU SOL Release First Track In Two Years With Must Hear Single “No Place”

Nothing gets us more worked up than new RÜFÜS DU SOL music. For that reason, today we'll be bumping their new single “No Place” all day long. It has been over a year since the Aussie trio dropped their 2016 album Bloom which placed #2 on TSIS’s favorite albums of 2016. This returning single couldn’t be more of a jam. They have been publicly promoting that they’ve been working on a new album for a while now, so we are hoping this first single will open the floodgates and summer ‘18 will be full of new RÜFÜS tunes.

“No Place” is everything you’d hope for in a RÜFÜS DU SOL release. Atmospheric pads, enticing vocals, dramatic drums and their unparalleled dance-driven vibe. Already slated to play major festivals such as Bonnaroo and Electric Forest, it is clear that this summer is going to be massive for RÜFÜS DU SOL and we couldn’t be more excited about it… Enjoy!

Electric Forest Shares Stacked 2018 Lineup Ft. GRiZ, Bassnectar, deadmau5 (Testpilot), ZHU, RÜFÜS DU SOL + Many More

EF 2018

Over the past few years, Electric Forest has easily become one of our favorite festivals. With their incredible stage productions and one of a kind venue, it’s no wonder the fest has decided to extend their forest production to two weekends for this years installment. Today, after confirming that next year’s festival will also be a two-weekend experience, Electric Forest has finally shared their 2018 lineup.

Electric Forest has secured a stacked lineup for their eighth year running. While both weekends will see performances from The String Cheese Incident, Bassnectar, GRiZ (+ live band), RÜFÜS DU SOL, ZHU, Bonobo, Chromeo, Louis The Child, Malaa and others, weekend one will feature Galantis, Jauz, Lil Dicky, Hotel Garuda, and Kayzo, followed by another weekend with REZZ, Boombox Cartel, Crankdat, Lane 8, Quix and many many more. We’ve had a blast curating our signature Secret Sets over the past few years so stay tuned for what we have in store for Electric Forest 2018. KRANE Drops Vibrant Future Bass Remix Of RÜFÜS DU SOL's “Innerbloom”

KRANE innerbloom remix

When it comes to dropping fresh and forward thinking remixes, Oakland-based artist KRANE has been on an absolute tear these past few months. Back in June the producer teamed up with Alexander Lewis for a brassy, trap-influenced remix of Sinjin Hawke’s “Onset.” Just a couple weeks later he kept the momentum high with his take on Cashmere Cat’s “9 (After Coachella).” Both of these re-works were bursting with energy and perfectly crafted for summer. Today KRANE is back with yet another impressive remix, this time for RÜFÜS DU SOL's (known as RÜFÜS outside of North America) “Innerbloom.”

"Listening to electronic music is still relatively a new thing in my life - in many ways I’ve learned about it alongside of learning production. And when I heard Rufus I was blown away- it was not a style I had been into prior- but they have a style and moodiness to their music I was instantly in love with. I made this remix of Innerbloom to bring their vibe into my sets in a way that felt me still, and have been playing it out for some time. I’ve gotten more and more requests from DJ’s to send it to them, and fans to release it. So, albeit a little late, here it is." - KRANE

With this remix KRANE maintains the noticeable power behind the original, all the while boosting the energy with his signature style of production. He pulls you in from the start with a somber piano intro, building into an infectious future bass drop that ties in edits of “Innerbloom”’s iconic vocals and synth patterns. Altogether, KRANE takes an already beautiful track and gives it an edge we never knew it needed. Check out the remix below and enjoy!
