Valentino Khan & Skrillex - Slam Dunk : Massive Trap Collaboration

VK Skrillex Slam Dunk

The best way to figure out if a song will hit is by playing it out, right? Well, that's exactly what Skrillex and Valentino Khan did with their "Slam Dunk" collaboration on OWSLA. The track made its first run of live appearances in October 2015, according to 1001Tracklists, and was rinsed by everyone from Getter to Party Favor to Jack U.

Skrillex x Rick Ross - Purple Lamborghini : Massive Trap / Hip-Hop Collaboration

The song made its OWSLA Radio debut on episode 12, allowing for its jungle terror core to reverberate across the Beats 1 airwaves. "Slam Dunk" features Kansas City rapper Kstylis -- known as the "king of twerk" -- who receives the nostalgic autotune treatment in the hook. Stream the high-heat collaboration below and let us know what you think!

Skrillex x Rick Ross - Purple Lamborghini : Massive Trap / Hip-Hop Collaboration

Skrillex Rick Ross

What's purple, most likely green ($$$) and has "blockbuster" written all over it? The answer is Skrillex's brand new collaboration with Rick Ross, "Purple Lamborghini", on the Suicide Squad soundtrack. The summer blockbuster's track list boasts an impressive lineup of A-list acts from Wiz Khalifa to Eminem to Panic! At The Disco.

Skrillex & Rick Ross Link Up For Possible Suicide Squad Theme Song

Skrillex debuted the dubstep heater at Atlantic City's Wav Nightclub as an unreleased ID in early April, creating a flurry of buzz around the track. "Purple Lamborghini" fits like a glove into any party playlist given its blood-pumping intensity that's backed by a strong brass foundation and is backed by a strong brass foundation and incessant percussion.

Wiz Khalifa, Logic, Ty Dolla $ign & More Collaborate on Massive Single, “Sucker For Pain”

While a banger between Skrillex and Rick Ross may come as a pleasant surprise, the OWSLA is no stranger to hip-hop collaborations, having worked with Chance The Rapper, Vic Mensa, The Game and several others in the past. Rick Ross has even said that Skrillex will be featured on his album set to come out later this year! Suicide Squad, along with its soundtrack, will be released in theaters worldwide on Aug. 5 (yes, the same day DJ Snake's Encore album drops). Until then, stream "Purple Lamborhini" below and enjoy!

"Go Off" comes complete with a dance-inducing middle eastern aesthetic and delivers M.I.A's monotone affected vocals. She calls it her "cleanest" record to date. Listen below and watch her new music video:

While M.I.A. expresses her desire "to go and do some other stuff" outside of music and says she has no intentions of recording another full length album after AIM, she says that won't stop her from making and releasing records individually. Stay tuned for more updates!
