French Producer Group Slow Hours Return From Hiatus With Stunning Debut Original "Endless"

slow hours endless

French producer group Slow Hours are back with a stunning new track. The six-person collective surfaced with a vibrant remix of Petit Biscuit’s “Sunset Lover” that was equal parts festival banger and cinematic experience. They quickly followed it up with an insane remix of “Lone” by What So Not that cemented their driving, future-bass inspired sound in the minds of thousands of fans. Both tracks became massively popular and we’ve been waiting for more from the group. Today that wait is over with the release of Slow Hours’ debut original “Endless”.

“Endless” is combined effort of producers Astre, Khamsin, Kidswaste, Kultur, Lain, and Rusty Hook coming together as Slow Hours to create a track that is as hype as it is sublime. Piano, guitar, and strings set an orchestral tone at the beginning of the track that smoothly builds into a pounding drop. The synths have a raw, powerful feel to them that fills your headphones but isn’t abrasive. After each drop the track returns to its orchestral start, ending with a flourish of beautiful piano work to ease the listener into silence. Enjoy!

[PREMIERE] Rising Producer Rusty Hook Makes TSIS Debut With Dreamy Original “Relief” Feat. Truitt

Rusty Hook

In recent months we’ve been consistently impressed by Slow Hours, a powerhouse group comprised of six young French producers. We first premiered the group back in June with their remix of Petit Biscuit’s “Sunset Lover,” a piece that displayed Slow Hours’s stunning sound design. Today we’re excited to premiere a track from one of the six talents behind this collection of artists, Rusty Hook. The single, “Relief” feat. Truitt, appears off of Rusty Hook’s forthcoming debut EP, Romance Is Dead, Good Riddance, set to drop later this year.

Rusty Hook proves with this one that he can hold his own as a solo producer. Truitt’s effortless vocals float over layers and layers of spaced out synths, powerful bass punches and resounding percussion for the first half of the track. Most compelling about the piece is a synth breakdown throughout the second half that utilizes an infectious tension married with Truitt’s spellbinding tone. Altogether, “Relief” pulls from various genres to create a unique sound that we’re loving. If “Relief” is any sign of what to expect from Rusty Hook’s solo EP, we can’t wait for its release. Check out the single below via Moving Castle and enjoy!

[PREMIERE] Slow Hours Make TSIS Debut For Cinematic Remix Of Petit Biscuit's "Sunset Lover"

Slow Hours Petit Biscuit Remix

Petit Biscuit’s track “Sunset Lover” is one of our favorite releases from last year and now it’s getting the remix pack treatment it deserves. Early off the pack we have the pleasure of introducing a new French supergroup Slow Hours who took on the original for an incredible remix.

It’s been an honor to remix Petit Biscuit, as we saw him grow so much over the last year. We can't be prouder when we see a french friend taking it over the world. When we were asked to remix Sunset Lover, we knew it had to be something special. So we got to the studio and there was an instant connection between everyone, we were able to cohesively create the remix together. We tried to bring this kind of "old french touch" vibe, melted to orchestral stuff. It’s not easy having six people working together at once, but this remix helped us find our work flow. - Slow Hours

Slow Hours consists of Astre, Khamsin, Kidswaste, Kultur, Lain and Rusty Hook whose individual styles combine for something amazing. Their rendition of “Sunset Lover” is simply epic. They take the highlights of the original while making it their own. The cinematic remix pairs crunchy and slashing glitched synths during the energetic drop while also creating a dreamy, relaxing atmosphere during other portions of the track leading up to a beautiful piano outdo. Definitely keep an eye on Slow Hours as we can’t wait to hear what else they’ve been working on. Enjoy!
