SNAILS & Pegboard Nerds Drop "Deep In The Night" Remix EP Feat. Dion Timmer & More

'Deep In The Night' Remix EP

SNAILS & Pegboard Nerds' remix EP for their collaboration "Deep In The Night" has just dropped in its entirety! We recently premiered Barely Alive's heavy dubstep rework of the track and are glad to show you the other two by Dion Timmer and Muzzy.

Dion Timmer is a name were particularly excited about this year. He comes from the same camp as Excision and collaborated with the man himself last year on "Final Boss" which takes heavy trap to a new level. The up-and-comer is based out of the Netherlands and puts his incredible creativity on full display with his latest. He chops up and speeds up the gargling dubstep sequences of the original track while adding space-like textures around the production that gives the production a fresh ambience. The remix EP as a whole is one awesome banger after another. Check it out below and enjoy!

[PREMIERE] SNAILS & Pegboard Nerds - Deep In The Night (Barely Alive Remix) : Heavy Dubstep

SNAILS - Deep In The Night (Barely Alive Remix) [Cover Art]

Barely Alive keeps the music coming with an official remix of SNAILS and Pegboard Nerds' heavy collaboration "Deep In The Night". This release follows the Barely Alive's heavy dubstep single "CA$H" on OWSLA and they keep the bass filth rolling with their latest release via Monstercat.

Barely Alive transforms the vomitstep weapon into a dubstep banger that's surrounded by cinematic drums, high-pitched bells and metallic bass synths that blend in perfectly with the original track's gargling lead synth. "Deep In The Night" has also received the remix treatment from talented acts Dion Timmer and Muzzy so be sure to check their takes on the song as well. Listen to the premiere of Barely Alive's heavy remix of "Deep In The Night" by SNAILS and Pegboard Nerds below. Enjoy!

SNAILS' Song Makes Hilarious Appearance In New M. Night Shyamalan Movie 'Split' [Video]

Snails Hedwig side by side

So I saw on Twitter that TSIS regular SNAILS has a song in the new M. Night Shyamalan movie titled Split. Shyamalan is the same director responsible for The Village, The Sixth Sense, etc. Well I saw the movie this weekend and the part with the SNAILS' song is hilarious.

We tried finding the clip online but with no luck, until just now, YourEDM posted what looks like a a cell phone video from someone at the movies haha, so we had to include.

After seeing the movie, it makes perfect sense that the track would appear where it did as they wanted to find the most ridiculous sounding song to show how insane the main character is. It's a pretty epic scene showing the star of the movie play a song on his CD player, which happens to be playing SNAILS' single "FROGBASS". He then does what we will call the "Frogbass dance" that's as wild as the song is. It couldn't be more fitting and incredible seeing an artist we've been supporting since day one get such a huge placement in a major feature film. Check out the clip below before it gets taken down from the internet.

We would highly recommend seeing this movie in theaters as well, easily one of the best thrillers we'd seen in years. Enjoy!
