Outkast's Big Boi Shares New Album 'Boomiverse' Ft. Snoop Dogg, Gucci Mane, Killer Mike & More

Big Boi Boomiverse Art

Big Boi, one-half of the legendary duo Outkast, has just released his third solo album today. Boomiverse is his first album in five years since 2012's excellent Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors. While that album brought indie collaborations and experimental production, his newest goes back to his Atlanta roots with a more traditional southern hip-hop style.

He recruited tons of collaborators for the album, including Snoop Dogg, Gucci Mane, Killer Mike, Jeezy and more. Most of the songs feature verses with aggressive delivery, which are juxtaposed by radio-friendly choruses. While Andre 3k is unfortunately nowhere on the album, Big Boi holds his own and continues to prove that he may be underrated but should not be overlooked. Enjoy!

G-Eazy Drops 3 New Singles Including A Collaboration With Snoop Dogg

g eazy loosies

G-Eazy just dropped a new track “Maximum” a a couple days ago and keeps the releases coming with another 3 new tracks. Titled “Get Mine” with Snoop Dogg, “Special Love” with Dakari and “Eyes Closed” with Johhny Yukon.

He tweeted that “Maximum” was “Just for fun... to hold you over... album coming soon…” and follows it up with three tracks in a playlist titled “Loosies” to hold us over even longer until we get more news on the album. Today is actually his birthday (happy birthday G!) and to celebrate he’s given fans a gift of their own. These three collabs won’t be appearing on his album but we’ll gladly take these ahead of the full project as it’s great to heat G alongside Snoop Dogg. Stay tuned for more and enjoy!
