Skrillex Remixes Ekali & Denzel Curry's Wild Collab "Bablylon" + Remix Pack Ft. Josh Pan, Oshi & More

Skrillex Ekali

Ekali impressed us all back in August with his and Denzel Curry’s absolute banger of a collab. From garnering millions of streams over the past few months to being featured prominently in a NBA 2K18 trailer, “Babylon” has become almost inescapable. Now, after sufficient teasing from Skrillex and Ekali himself, the star studded Babylon Remixes have finally dropped.

With the new EP, Ekali has assembled some of our favorite artists on three collaborative remixes. Featuring a chilled-out rework from Sober Rob & Oshi, a dark experimental version from Josh Pan & X&G and a heavy trap remix from none other than Skrillex and frequent Denzel Curry collaborator Ronny J, diversity is definitely the strong suit of this latest offering. Check out the Babylon Remixes below and enjoy!

Pham & Sober Rob Share New Single “Alibi” Feat Madi via Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats Label

Pham Sober Rob Artwork

The latest release to come from Zeds Dead's Deadbeats label is "Alibi" by Pham and Sober Rob. The gritty electronic single features female vocalist Madi who brings extra emotion to the production with her slick vocals.

"Alibi" incorporates dark and moody ambient synths that are intercepted by a strong bassline driving the foundation of the drop. The contrast between Madi's silky vocals and the hard bassline is simply done to a tee and keeps us listening until the very end.

"We'd been doing some projects after we met in Los Angeles and there was one that caught our attention after a while. During the process we met Madi, an amazing singer. The decision was to set the sounds in contrast. We found our common creative ground with Madi: in this example the vocals became really light and instrumentation started to get gritty and hard hitting...We wanted to introduce something new, push the envelope amongst the wave of replicating sound aesthetics." -- Pham and Sober Say

Pham is someone we've been covering for a few years now and recently shared his chill trap single "Below The Surface." We first introduced Sober Rob to the site last summer with his refreshing future bass original "With Me" and have see Madi shine on several cuts like "Lilith" by Dabin and "Flutter" by Virtual Riot. It's awesome to see the three acts come together on a strong track like this, especially on a respected independent label like Deadbeats. Listen to "Alibi" below and enjoy!

Listen To Rising Producer Sober Rob’s Refreshing Future Bass Original “With Me”

Sober Rob 1
Rising producer Sober Rob made his festival debut at EDC New York 2016 and now makes his grand entrance to TSIS with his record, "With Me," a soothing future bass cut that intertwines helium-injected vocal chops. "One of the main things I try to do is to never fully move away from something I’ve learned or liked for a while," he says. "I'm always incorporating my favorite aspects from different styles of production."

Rob's taste and sound has significantly developed over the years, initially diving into grimy elements of dubstep before surrounding himself with the sounds of electronic tastemakers like Flume and Mr. Carmack. "With Me" certainly caters to a more sophisticated electronic sound that showcases his abstract, yet purposeful sound design.

The track is set to be released on the rising producer's Enlighten EP coming out June 24 on Kill The Noise and DJ craze's imprint, Slow Roast Records. You can pre-order the upcoming EP below. Enjoy
