Diplo Teams With Incredibly Talented Vocalist / Songwriter Starrah On New Collaborative 5-Track EP

Starrah Diplo EP

Diplo and Starrah just released their highly anticipated joint EP that includes the previously released singles "Swerve" and "Imperfections." Both of these tracks showed the incredible chemistry these two have together, and the new project only builds upon that.

Starrah is known for her amazing songwriting abilities, being the mastermind behind much of the most recent albums from Calvin Harris, Travis Scott, Big Sean, and Young Thug. This EP shows that she is ready to take the spotlight, with a beautiful voice that Diplo said is one of his favorites right now. Most of Diplo's time recently has been with Major Lazer releasing their Know No Better EP in June and recording their new album. This EP, however, shows him going back to his roots where he is able to provide his combination of hip-hop and pop music to create something special.

There's not a bad song in the five that are featured on this EP, and we can't wait to see where Starrah's solo career goes from here. Enjoy!

Songwriter / Hitmaker Starrah Teams With Diplo On Catchy New Track "Imperfections"

Starrah might not yet be a name everyone's familiar with, but there's a good chance you've heard her songwriting if you've been listening to hip-hop the last three years. On top of co-writing Travis Scott's 2016 album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, the LA songwriter has credits on Cashmere Cat's "Trust Nobody," multiple songs on the new Calvin Harris album, and many more.

While we have heard her vocals before on tracks like "Pick up the Phone" and "Throw Myself a Party," she is now stepping out in the spotlight as a solo artist with just a few singles out. Her latest track that premiered on Zane Lowe today is a collaboration with Diplo, which follows their work together on the latest Major Lazer EP.. "Imperfections" shows off her talented use of auto-tune that perfectly accentuates her singing style, while Diplo provides a hip-hop beat with trap snares for her to shine over. Her lyrics are relatable and catchy as always, making this one of the best feel-good tracks of the summer.

A few months ago, Diplo announced that he is working on a collaborative EP with Starrah and if this is the bar they're setting for that project, it's going to be incredible. Enjoy!
