Donald Glover Co-Stars With SZA In New Music Video For "Garden"

SZA has been taking over the past year with CTRL taking her to new heights as one of the biggest R&B vocalists right now. Now she’s teamed up with none other than Donald Glover for the new music video for “Garden” and it’s just what we wanted from them. Donald co-stars in the video that also includes SZA’s mother, Audrey Rowe. This comes after SZA made a brief appearance in Childish Gambino’s “This Is America” earlier this year, and now he returns the favor. See below and enjoy!

SZA Announces Her Next Album Will Be Her Last

sza quitting music

SZA has had a whirlwind of a couple years. The TSIS favorite has gone platinum and earned Grammy nominations this past year but still isn’t happy. The TDE crooner expressed her frustrations with the label before the release of her debut studio album CTRL saying that she was quitting music. The many album delays really effected her and now that the album is out and is massively successful, she has shared in an interview with Flaunt.

“I’m still miserable,” she said. “My world got so much smaller so fast. I have so much to write about. I feel like I’m in a cage. I’m making the best album of my life for this next album and I know that… because it’s going to be my last album.” - SZA

It’s worth noting SZA is working on music with Mark Ronson and Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker as a super trio group. We’re hoping SZA has a change of heart but respect her decision and hope she can find happiness while making the incredible music she has been.

Kendrick Lamar & SZA Channel Upcoming 'Black Panther' Movie In Incredibly Epic Music Video For "All The Stars"

Kendrick Lamar All The Stars Video

Kendrick Lamar and SZA just shared the stunning new video for their collaboration “All The Stars” off Marvel’s upcoming Black Panther movie, and the video is as epic as you might expect. We really can’t wait for the full soundtrack and movie coming later this week, and this music video only has us more excited.

With Marvel and Interscope both pushing the video, it’s no surprise that it’s extremely high quality and undoubtedly had a high budget. It seems as though they used some sets from the film to include Kendrick amongst a crowd of people while SZA appears in a queenlike fashion seen amongst the stars in the sky with imagery capturing the African-inspired visuals from powerful forthcoming movie.

Stay tuned for the full album due this Friday including contributions from Anderson .Paak, The Weeknd, Travis Scott, James Blake, Kendrick and more. The full movie hit theaters on Feb. 16. Like many of Kendrick's music videos, this was directed by Dave Meyers and The Little Homies, aka Kendrick himself and TDE President Dave Free. Enjoy!
