Tchami Shares Impressive New Collab With Malaa “The Sermon” + Dark House Remix of MK’s “17”

Tchami Malaa The Sermon

Parisian legend Tchami isn’t messing around – he just dropped two impressive new tracks that showcase his signature sound we’ve come to love from the producer. 2017 has also been quite the year for the artist; from singles like “Adieu” and “World To Me” to a Revelations EP to his label’s recent Alchemy 2 compilation, Tchami has done a little bit of everything over the past ten months. Today the house producer keeps that momentum going with a collab and a remix.

One of today’s releases is “The Sermon,” an epic collaboration with the mysterious Malaa. This collab comes on the heels of their last joint track, “Summer 99,” and it definitely lives up to the expectation these two created after working together before. Both producers come together effortlessly on “The Sermon,” with both Malaa’s moodier signature and Tchami’s energetic style taking a front seat throughout. With a brisk 4x4 beat and varying vocal samples tied together by an infectious bassline, this groovy house track is impossible not to bob your head to.

The second track, Tchami’s take on MK’s “17,” takes a bubbly deep house offering and injects it with a much darker house signature. Tchami keeps the bright vocal intact, which sounds fantastic with the contrasting sinister elements of the production. Check out both tracks below and enjoy!

Tchami And Malaa Reunite On Wild New Collab “Summer 99”

Tchami Malaa summer 99

Today is a good day for house-music fans, as Parisian powerhouse Tchami and the ever mysterious Malaa have teamed up on yet another incredible single. It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost exactly one year since the house heavyweights released their first collaboration, “Prophecy”, but today they’ve churned out a new future-house track titled “Summer 99” that may just rival its predecessor.

Although Malaa wasn’t part of Tchami’s recently released Alchemy 2 compilation, the masked producer definitely kept busy over the summer, dropping infectious singles such as “Belleville”, “Paris 96”, and his and Dombresky’s collab, “Hostyl”. For this latest offering filled with energetic percussion, bouncy plucks, distorted, detuned bass and some distinctive vocal samples (that some may recognise from De La Soul’s “Long Island Wildin'”), Tchami and Malaa did what they do best, giving us a true banger of a track. Check out “Summer 99” below and enjoy!
