Terror JR Delivers New Project 'Bop 3: The Girl Who Cried Purple'

Terror Jr Bop 3 The Girl Who Cried Purple

Terror JR have been on a hot streak over the past year. The trio found their way on our list of favorite projects from 2016 and have just delivered their second full length project of the year, Bop 3: The Girl Who Cried Purple.

Everything leading up to this project had their singer, Lisa surrounded in mystery as fans even thought Kylie Jenner was behind the group’s vocals. With the album cover they revealed the identity of their singer as Lisa Vitale. With production held down by super producer Felix Snow and former Cataracs member Benjamin Singer-Vine, the genre-blending project takes a hybrid approach of savage, poppy vocals and electronic production. While this project only clocks in at 21 minutes, it’s worth the listen. Enjoy!

Terror Jr Delivers New Single "Holding Your Tongue", Reveals Singer + Announces New Project

Terror Jr Holding Your Tongue

Terror Jr has been on a hot streak for the past year and show no signs of slowing down. They’ve just shared their latest single “Holding Your Tongue” and it’s just what we love to hear from the trio.

Terror burst on the scene last year with a couple viral tracks leading up to their debut project, and they quickly followed that up with an incredible album that’s one of our favorite releases so far this year. They’ve kept the momentum going with “Holding Your Tongue” building on the bright, electronic pop they’ve made a name for themselves with. As with anything Felix Snow is involved with, the production is on point with their vocalist Lisa's savage lyrics shining atop.

Along with single comes an exciting reveal... they've shown the face of Lisa, the group's mysterious singer as Lisa Vitale. They've also announced a new project titled The Girl Who Cried Purple due Sep. 29. Enjoy!

Galimatias Returns With Euphoric Future Bass Track "Let Me Know"

Galimatias

Galimatias has just put out his first track in nearly two years, and as we can hear from “Let Me Know,” his sound has endured. You may remember Galimatias from his hugely popular collaborations with vocalist Alina Baraz, many of which received countless remixes. The last release by Galamatias we covered was his funky remix of Porter Robinson’s “Sea Of Voices.”

“Let Me Know” maintains Galimatias’ poignant, euphoric style of chill future bass. Throughout the track, we can hear modulated and chopped voices as well as soulful backing vocals. The evolving synth chords set the stage for what is to come, with the drops bringing these to life and introducing heavy kicks and bass. Galimatias brings in ambient, harp-like plucks to tie the sections together and continues to build upon the moving atmosphere he creates.  “Let Me Know” marks an epic return for this talented producer, and we hope to hear more from Galimatias soon. Enjoy!
