Listen To Cashmere Cat's Highly Anticipated Debut Album '9'

Cashmere Cat Weeknd Ariana

The hype surrounding Cashmere Cat’s debut album has been steadily growing since the Norwegian producer/DJ dropped “Wild Love” in August of last year. Now, exactly nine days after announcing the release date and tracklist for 9, the wait is finally over.

The 10-track album comes complete with Cashmere’s previously released singles featuring Selena Gomez & Tory Lanez, The Weeknd, Camila Cabello, and . As a whole, this release exemplifies Cashmere Cat’s ability to channel deep emotion into his songs, while expanding upon his signature blend of pop, hip-hop and whimsical electronic production.

Cashmere Cat truly defies genres in this latest offering, blending complex sound design with almost comical distortion and pitch shifts throughout his songs, while at the same time retaining a simplistic and passionate vibe. Cashmere’s elegant melodies, skittering percussion, kaleidoscopic vocals and powerful bass send the listener on a slow yet energy packed journey throughout the album.

Although it seems that Cashmere’s collaboration with Starrah, 2 Chainz & Tory Lanez didn’t make the cut, the album is packed with incredible features from Kehlani, Ariana Grande, Kacy Hill, Jhene Aiko and Ty Dolla $ign.
