The Weeknd False Alarm Music Video

The Weeknd just shared a movie-quality music video for his latest album single, "False Alarm." This follows up his recent "Starboy" video which unveiled his new haircut. Both singles will appear on his forthcoming album, Starboy, due Nov. 25.

The epic, action-packed visuals are shot from The Weeknd's first person perspective. He robs a bank, takes a hostage and gets caught up in an insane police chase that will keep you entertained all the way through. The bllody thriller pairs flawlessly with the hectic sound design of the production and has us hoping he has more visual interpretations like this up his sleeve. Check out the video below and enjoy!

The Weeknd Explores New Territory On Second Album Single “False Alarm”

The Weeknd keeps the music coming with "False Alarm", the second single off his forthcoming Starboy album. The release enters a whirlwind of buzz as the R&B icon recently shared the project's title track, which features Daft Punk, and its music video

"False Alarm" explores a new direction from Abel. He finds his place atop a pulsing drum & bass beat and 80's-styled synth production that transitions into a more abrasive-sounding hook where he practically shouts the song’s title. Based on the first two singles, it sounds like Abel wants to switch things up on his upcoming LP. The raw alternative sound, as well as his new haircut, has fans hooked.

Starboy contains 18 songs and drops Nov. 25 on Republic Records. Listen to "False Alarm" below and enjoy!

The Weeknd and Daft Punk’s “Starboy” Music Video Is Here

The Weeknd Daft Punk Starboy

The Weeknd and Daft Punk recently united for a massive, unlikely collaboration called "Starboy". The release also ran side by side with the news of The Weeknd's next album, as well as a new haircut. The two acts have quickly followed up the tune with a cinematic music video that has already been nominated for this year's best video award at the MTV EMAs before it was even released.

The captivating visuals open up to Abel being seen as a hostage and seemingly killed by a masked man who ends up being himself with his new haircut. The video carries an ominous sci-fi tone throughout as The Weeknd busts out some dance moves while smashing countless objects with a glowing red cross. The video is fascinating from start to finish. Enjoy!
