Snails Shares Epic Coachella Recap With Special Guests Skrillex, Marshmello & More

Snails Skrillex Coachella Recap

It goes without saying that Snails unveiled his biggest set to date at Coachella 2016 in the Sahara Tent. The vomitstep pioneer claimed the throne both Fridays at 9:05pm, a coveted primetime slot that is not historically keen to his heavy sound. He joins an elite club of bass headliners that includes Skrillex, Knife Party and Excision who have managed to earn night time spots to showcase their ground-shaking growls.

While expectations were high and the energy-fueled tent was packed to the back, Snails made sure to capitalize on the esteemed opportunity, bringing out Marshmello, Flosstradamus, KSHMR and OWSLA's chief, Skrillex. Watch the recap video below to see what it's like to be one of thousands to get "SNAILED."

The Montreal-based artist now heads to New York where he will be performing at EDC New York on Sunday. Fans can also catch him at the EDC official pre-party this Friday (May 13) where he'll be headlining Webster Hall. Tickets can be purchased here. His Kill The Noise remix of "Fuk Ur MGMT" will also be dropping this Friday on the official Occult Classic remix album.

Kaytranada Makes New Robot Friend In “Lite Spots” Music Video

Kaytranada Lite

We had high expectations for Kaytranada’s debut album 99.9%, and he somehow exceeded them delivering one of our favorite albums of 2016. Now he’s brought one of the standout tracks to life with a new video perfectly capturing the playful vibe of the both song and album.

While 99.9% is a very cohesive album capturing a joyous vibe throughout, “Lite Spots” stands out as one of the album’s most unique sounding tracks. The wild, looped vocal sample and dance-driven beat provide the perfect soundtrack for Kaytranada to create a dancing robot friend, and that’s exactly what he does. The happy vibe of the video brings fun visuals coinciding with the album’s summertime vibe as he shows his newly created robot friend how to dance and shoot hoops. Enjoy this new music video directed by Martin C. Pariseau below and be sure to check out his whole album!
