[PREMIERE] SNAILS & Waka Flocka Flame Collab On Insane New Track "WFSU"

Snails Waka Wfsu

SNAILS is in the midst of a wild album rollout and shows no signs of slowing down. For the third single off his album, he’s linked up with none other than rapper Waka Flocka Flame for a hype new track “WFSU” we're excited to be premiering to you.

SNAILS recently put on a sold-out one day festival at Red Rocks called Sluggtopia we had the pleasure of presenting, and he debuted his upcoming album The Shell in full in addition to revealing his next level live stage setup. SNAILS went on to tease the album tracklist and release date with a cryptic image showing the track names and release date in a made-up “Sluggtopian” language his fans were somehow able to decipher quickly, revealing the project will become available next week, on Oct. 20

"WFSU" goes as hard as you’d imagine from a collaboration between SNAILS and Waka. We hear SNAILS’ signature, gargling synths as he kicks off the track with hip-hop percussion laying a foundation for Waka to go in on. This all builds up to a  drop that is as insane as ever with the sound design you've come to expect from Snails. You can grab the song as a free download when you pre-order The Shell. Enjoy!

Josh Pan Links Up With Anderson .Paak For Epic 14 Minute "Opus" Remix For Keith Ape’s “IT G MA Remix”

Recent OWSLA signee josh pan has been gaining legitimate traction over the last few months. With a coveted spot on OWSLA's Worldwide Broadcast compilation, the NYC producer has quickly become an artist to watch out for. His next venture sees him remixing South Korean enigma Keith Ape and his viral hit "IT G MA," which attracted features from A$AP Ferg, Waka Flocka Flame, Father, and Dumbfoundead on the original remix.

Now josh pan has remixed the track and brings on a new stand-out verse from rising hip-hop artist Anderson .Paak to add to the already stacked roster. Anderson .Paak has quickly risen as an artist to watch following his many features on Dre's album Compton, and he's since released an impressive debut album, appeared on TV for Colbert's show, and he's just signed with Dre's Aftermath Entertainment. The remix, dubbed "Opus" keeps the backbone of the original beat while incorporating electronic tinged trap layers into the nearly 15 minute track, which might as well be a mini mix. The song also boasts co-production credits from sakuraburst, MISOGI, X&G, MEDASIN, and oshi. Even Skrillex himself had something to say about the song.

This is a masterpiece. My jaw dropped when I heard it. - Skrillex

A saga of a song, josh pan seemlessly transitions between each verse, all while creating a whole new feel to the Korean trap hit. The song will be released Feb. 12th via OWSLA, but you can stream josh pan's "Opus" now!
