What So Not Announces Debut Album Release Date, Drops Gorgeous New Single “Stuck In Orbit” Ft. BUOY

What So Not Stuck In Orbit

After months and months of anticipation and speculation, What So Not’s debut album finally has a release date. The exciting project, titled Not All The Beautiful Things, is set to be released March 9th. All it takes is one look at the tracklisting of this album to know that this going to be huge. What So Not has rounded up a team of brilliant producers and vocalists to be featured on Not All The Beautiful Things, including San Holo and Skrillex, as well as fellow Aussie all-stars Slumberjack and Toto (yes, that Toto).

What So Not has also dropped a gorgeous new single to go along with this announcement. “Stuck In Orbit” is the second single off the upcoming album, and it’s equally as emotional and moving as the first. Australian vocalist BUOY dominates the track as What So Not’s production fills everything in. What So Not’s bassline synth provides the perfect platform for BUOY, and as soon as the percussion comes in, the track seems to just explode.

With two already massive emotional tracks, we’re very curious to see how the rest of the album turns out. Enjoy!

What So Not Delivers Powerful New Track “Be Ok Again” (feat. Daniel Johns)

What so not be ok again

What So Not has been on a roll over the past few months. Having started his streak of new singles back in September with his and LPX’s “Better”, the Australian powerhouse not only went on to release a new collab with George Maple, but also teamed up with Quix on an intense joint remix of AWOLNATION's "Run". Today, he continues his streak with a brand new single titled “Be Ok Again” (feat. Daniel Johns).

Featuring vocals from fellow Aussie artist, Daniel Johns, this latest offering may only be the first of many to come from the two. Lead by a vibrant arpeggiated melody and some atmospheric synths, Johns’ soft voice  fits perfectly in with Emoh’s, dark yet lush sound. Filled with wonky, pulsing synths, hard-hitting bass and some powerful percussion, Johns and Emoh are sounding incredible on this emotional new single. We've been patiently awaiting this anticipated single so be sure to check out “Be Ok Again” below and enjoy!

What So Not And Quix Team Up On Intense Chilling Remix Of AWOLNATION's "Run"

What So Not Awolnation

What So Not and Quix have collaborated and unleashed a gruesome remix of AWOLNATION’s “Run”. Australian powerhouse, What So Not, has had been busy recently releasing two singles, “Better” and “Hold Me by the Waist”, and a remix of Era Istrefi’s “Redrum”. New Zealander Quix has been quite the work horse himself having recently dropped tracks with Ekali and KRANE. The powerful artists come together for this impressively hard-hitting remix of “Run”.

The two set the ominous tone immediately with sounds of rainfall alongside chilling strings, staging the atmosphere for the rest of the remix. Abruptly breaking into harsh guitar strums and sirens, the track gets dark, fast. Finally, the song’s drop full of piercing synths and major trap drums. This remix of “Run” is aggressive… as we expected considering the masterminds behind it. Enjoy!
