It’s been a long time coming, but What So Not’s debut album is finally here! Having evolved exponentially over a period of almost eight years, the Australian producer has not only been a TSIS favorite, but an absolute staple in electronic music as a whole. Now, having been just over a year since Emoh announced he had started working on the album, we’re pumped to share the finished project, titled - Not All The Beautiful Things.

Although this latest offering ranges greatly in genre and production, it perfectly exemplifies the lush, powerful and sometimes experimental sound we’ve come to know and love from What So Not. Featuring previously released singles “Be Ok Again”, “Stuck In Orbit”  and WSN’s most recent release, “Beautiful”, included on the album are also numerous incredible collabs with SLUMBERJACK, Rome Fortune, Skrillex, Toto, San Holo, Dyro and more. Tapping into musical influences from house, hip-hop, rock, trap and future bass, What So Not really outdid himself on the entirety of these 12-track. Check out Not All The Beautiful Things below. Enjoy!

What So Not Drops Emotional New Single "Beautiful" Ft. Winona Oak Off Debut Album

what So Not beautiful Winona Oak

What So Not has been an electronic music staple for years, but on March 9 he will finally drop his highly anticipated debut album titled Not All The Beautiful Things. The tracklist is stacked with brilliant producers and vocalists including Skrillex, San Holo, Slumberjack, and even Toto (yes, the one who sang Africa), but what we’re looking forward to most is hearing where WSN decides to take his ever-evolving sound. In January he dropped “Stuck In Orbit” ft. BUOY, a slow, emotional track that was a stark departure from bangers like his remix of AWOLNATION’s “Run” with QUIX.

WSN’s latest release “Beautiful” ft. Winona Oak continues to explore the more emotional side of his sound, but incorporates harder-hitting electronic elements that make this song as addicting as it is meaningful. The track opens with Winona’s delicate vocals and quickly swells into a dark, tribal drop that builds into a fast-paced chorus bursting with energy. Throughout the track, the energy levels oscillate from borderline ambient to thumping, high-BPM rhythms.

Keep your eyes out for the full album Not All The Beautiful Things out on March 9! Enjoy!
