Whethan & Oliver Tree Collaborate On Infectious Genre-Blending Song "Enemy"

Whethan Oliver Tree

Both Whethan and Oliver Tree have been on a steep upward trajectory over the past year and when the two team up, it’s amazing. This time around they’ve collaborated on an infectious new track “Enemy”.

Oliver Tree is a ridiculous person. If you aren’t familiar with the bowl-cut advocate, be sure to check out his Instagram as he’s not your typical guy (see the album artwork below). His genre-blending music is next level though, especially when he teams up with frequent collaborator Whethan, as the two have once again on the track blending influences from indie, hip-hop and electronic. Check out the new song below and keep an eye out for more. Enjoy!

Whethan Shares Experimental Remix Of Lorde's "Perfect Places" + Tour Dates

Whethan Lorde Art

Whethan has been on a tear this year and shows no signs of slowing down. He's been on a roll with his incredible spree of original tracks and switches things up for his latest release.

This time around, he's decided to take on Lorde's "Perfect Places" for an experimental remix. Following up his recent singles "Sleepy Eyes," "Good Nights," and "Love Gang," this new remix does not disappoint. Whethan utilizes the original's vocals while introducing his own productions giving the track a gritty basstones with a darker sound design while still maintaining his bubbly vibe with some 8-bit styled melodies and plucks during the impressive drop and breakdown. He's also announced his "Good Nights" tour, see dates below and enjoy!

Whethan And Elohim Team Up On Laid-Back New Single “Sleepy Eyes”

Whethan has been on a roll as of late with some incredible releases. Earlier this year the Chicago-based producer dropped the catchy single “love gang” (feat. Charli XCX) before releasing his latest track, “Good Nights” (feat. Mascolo). Today, we’re happy to share yet another incredible Whethan collaboration, this time with LA-based artist Elohim, titled “Sleepy Eyes”.

Although Whethan has remixed Elohim in the past, “Sleepy Eyes” makes for the first time the two have officially collaborated. Starting off with a warm plucked melody, Elohim’s soft, delicate voice (which listeners may recognize from Louis The Child’s "Love Is Alive") quickly rolls in, giving the track a warm, emotional vibe. Some gentle percussion and a crisp horn slowly progresses the song forward into a chill drop filled with distant vocal chops and a pulsing bassline, perfect for summer. Check out Elohim & Whethan’s “Sleepy Eyes below and enjoy!
