Whethan And Elohim Team Up On Laid-Back New Single “Sleepy Eyes”

Whethan has been on a roll as of late with some incredible releases. Earlier this year the Chicago-based producer dropped the catchy single “love gang” (feat. Charli XCX) before releasing his latest track, “Good Nights” (feat. Mascolo). Today, we’re happy to share yet another incredible Whethan collaboration, this time with LA-based artist Elohim, titled “Sleepy Eyes”.

Although Whethan has remixed Elohim in the past, “Sleepy Eyes” makes for the first time the two have officially collaborated. Starting off with a warm plucked melody, Elohim’s soft, delicate voice (which listeners may recognize from Louis The Child’s "Love Is Alive") quickly rolls in, giving the track a warm, emotional vibe. Some gentle percussion and a crisp horn slowly progresses the song forward into a chill drop filled with distant vocal chops and a pulsing bassline, perfect for summer. Check out Elohim & Whethan’s “Sleepy Eyes below and enjoy!

Whethan Teams Up With Mascolo For Chill New Track “Good Nights”

Whethan Press

Ever since Whethan’s debut premiere on TSIS, “Can’t Hide,” dropped nearly a year ago, we’ve been following the talented producer’s ascent. At the young age of 17 he’s consistently pushed out tracks that have electrified speakers everywhere, from his dynamic original “love gang” to his genre-blending collaboration with Oliver Tree “All You Ever Talk About.” Today Whethan is back with another track that showcases his unique style, “Good Nights” feat. singer/songwriter Mascolo.

“Good Nights” is an engaging indie-electronica fusion. The track pulls you in effortlessly with simple piano, flitting percussion, both bubbly and wobbly synths and a subtle but tasteful guitar riff. Mascolo’s warm vocals are the perfect pairing for this light style of production, and it’s safe to say that we’re loving it. He also just announced a massive tour, see dates below. Check out the impressive single below and enjoy!

Watch Recap For TSIS Beach Stage At Okeechobee 2017 Ft. Louis Futon, Kasbo, Whethan & Brasstracks

Okeechobee TSIS Stage

Festival season is in full force now so we have a very special TBT to a couple months back when we kicked off the year proper at one of our new favorite music festivals, Okeechobee Music & Art Festival, taking place down in Florida.

Well we had the pleasure of partnering up with the festival and having our own stage for a special TSIS Beach Party on Saturday and it was incredible. The party featured some TSIS regulars Kasbo, Louis Futon, Brasstracks and Whethan. It was packed from start to finish with thousands of people partying by the water on the beach.

Today we have a special 30 second recap of the party to give a taste to those who weren’t able to attend. It was such a good reception we can’t wait to go back next year to the festival and to hopefully throw another beach party. Enjoy!
